I’m sorry, but hackers remotely turning off refrigeration systems at hundreds of supermarkets and destroying all their fresh and frozen food is INSANE. We’ve connected so much of our physical world to the internet that apparently even keeping milk cold is now a cybersecurity problem. What the actual hell.

Ratzinger: We are not some casual and meaningless product of evolution. Each of us is the result of a thought of God. Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary
If a Nigerian gave this level and detail of feedback; they will be broke shamed and say “what do you know, you don’t have money”
“The Developer Wasn’t Thinking. This Elevator Is Something We Were Doing In America In The 1970s. It’s Outdated And No Longer Considered Modern. And Why So Much Glass, Glass, Glass? I Understand The Concept Of Trying To Look Modern, But It’s Not Necessary.” ~ American Real Estate Expert And Critic Reacts While Reviewing A $1.2 Million Mansion In Lagos. The Part Where He Said He Wouldn’t Even Get Into The Elevator Because He Didn’t Trust The Workmanship! And What He Said The Barbershop Section Inside The House. For a $1.2 Million Property, He Clearly Expected Much Better Design, Finishing And Quality.
all what the white guy is saying is really commonsense, nothing even technical.
we just have too many fools per sq2.
Steven Tried To Defend The Developer’s Mistakes And Poor Finishing By Claiming That Once Someone Buys The House, The Developer Would Come Back To Fix The Errors. He Also Claimed That Nigerians Don’t Care About Privacy😅But The American Real Estate Expert Wasn’t Buying Any Of Those Excuses!😩Honestly, I Enjoyed Every Single Moment Of The Full Video, Especially The Ending, Where He Gave His Final Assessment Of The Property And Revealed Whether He Would Actually Buy It Despite All The Errors He Had Pointed Out! 👀🔥

I’ve seen people become dissatisfied with their lives by constantly observing outlier outcomes and concluding they’re not doing enough.
Outliers are outliers for a reason. If you achieve one, that’s great. But there’s so much joy to be found between the mean and those extremes.
Crazyyyy
🚨 Big Scoop 🚨
Vatar Inc., the parent company of viral gaming sensation Lagos Life, raises $500,000 in pre-seed from some of African tech's most recognisable names – at a $10 million valuation.
Lagos Life co-founder and CEO @Shalom_HeyEliy opened and closed the round in 24 hours!
Flutterwave CEO @TechProd_Arch backed the round through his fund, @R17_Ventures, along with Terra Industries CEO @_KingNath, Mono CEO & Flutterwave Chief Product Officer @ijbguy, and Angel Investor @OoTheNigerian.
The $500,000 will go into improving the product: a premium interface, more depth, and creating more games for the company.
Lagos Life has been on a generational run. In eight days, it’s crossed 4 million players, made $170,000 in revenue, and expanded to two cities.
I have not seen anything like it in years.
You obviously do not understand analogies. Your post is meant to rage bait and attack.

They ARE universal and the greatest minds of the European tradition realized this. Thomas Aquinas recognizes the moral law written on the hearts of all people; Dante places Saladin alongside the greatest heroes of classical antiquity. Virtue appears and is admirable everywhere!
SECRETARY RUBIO: We take the West’s conception of these things – heroism, honor, duty – we take these things for granted. We assume that these somehow are universal to all people in all times and in all places. They are not.
They are the product of a distinct character, a distinct character which arose here – and shaped the whole story of the civilization that came after it.

This is a very reasonable post and I think many people are misreading it. The phrase “there is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one” indicates that he doesn’t necessarily deny AI capability; he’s saying that even if AI skill matches human skill, it’s still missing — tautologically — human agency and volition. No matter what, AI is a different category than humanity, and AI art is a different category from human art. He’s saying that, as humans, we should remember to protect and defend the human category no matter what.
In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Insecurity was enough to kick Jonathan out. The rules cannot be different because BAT is a Yoruba man. On every other metric, GEJ was 10x better than BAT.
This is not an invitation to a debate. If you don’t agree that’s your problem. I’m not trying to convince you.
