Syzygy Asset Management Chairman Rob Arnott says the US market looks frothy and expensive and warns that investors should not short a bubble, since bubbles can keep rising sharply before reversing bloom.bg/3FX7vFx

Annual leadership changes more than most portfolios do. Diversification works because no asset stays on top for long.

Sorry for the delays, folks, but good news: people really love the book! I don't know why I even listed this book on @amazon. You can't ship them inventory unless they request it. So if I go on some media and I know 10,000 people are going to order the book, you can't even ship them more inventory ahead of time. Ludicrous. If you're impatient, you can always get signed copies here: pagesabookstore.com/book/978…

Berkshire Hathaway director Chris Davis: "One of the peculiarities of investing is that the more risk people *feel* they're taking, the less risk they *are* taking." "When people began transitioning to SUVs, one of the most dangerous things is they felt safer [and drove worse]." "The perception of risk alters behavior. And how could investing be different? We're at an all-time high in the market. People feel great. The Mag 7 is the talk of the town in the way the Nifty Fifty was or FANG or whatever other hot acronym generally points to a bubble in a sector. People [feel] no price is too high, you've just got to get on the train. That's a pretty risky setup — simply because people feel those are sure things." (@excessreturnpod || 2026)

To be clear, I believe @Fidelity is morally bankrupt for charging unsuspecting retail investors $100 commissions (and consistently lying to my face). I don't think they are morally bankrupt for charging ETF issuers, although I think it is stupid, unnecessary, reduces competition, creates an uneven playing field since some issuers pay nothing, and will generate meaningless revenue for them. barrons.com/articles/free-et…

Wonder if anyone has ever published a new book on a Saturday, in the summer, that is also a holiday? At least we won't have any competition lol... Added bonus - first 10,000 copies don't have a picture of me in the book (forgot it). a.co/d/0gZJDocF

Is there such a thing as an easy bubble? Could a stock be less risky after it doubles? What does whether they return their shopping cart tell you about management? @CultishCreative and I have got answers to all of that, and some great clips from our interviews with Ben Inker and Chris Mayer in our weekly wrap. youtu.be/llVmQjbukAY

He made a name for himself by making brave calls, and seeing around corners. Today Jeremy Grantham made a rare TV appearance on Squawk Box with a warning for investors. cnbc.com/video/2026/06/26/bi…

Are we confusing how important AI is with how safe it is to invest in? Today I’m sitting down with Jeremy Grantham - a man whose firm managed up to $165 billion and helped create one of the world's first index funds. He has spent more than 60 years studying markets, money, and human behaviour. Along the way, he’s built a legendary reputation for spotting financial ‘bubbles’ long before most people admit they exist - those rare, dangerous moments when pure excitement and FOMO push asset prices completely out of reality, far beyond what they are actually worth. And Jeremy believes that exact pattern is happening with AI right now... We broke this down some more: - Could AI be revolutionary and still become a dangerous bubble? - Why do the most exciting stocks often fall the hardest? - What would happen if AI stocks dropped by 70%? - How did Amazon fall 92% and still become one of the biggest companies on earth? - Are markets driven more by psychology than numbers? - Why is Jeremy moving his own money out of US stocks? - Could house prices still have further to fall? And this conversation didn’t stop at markets… Jeremy also opened up about what’s happening to human fertility… He broke down why sperm counts have dropped so dramatically since 1970 and the hidden role that pesticides, plastics, and PFAS are playing that most people completely fail to realise. What became clear to me during our chat is that Jeremy isn't just warning us about AI. He's warning us about our behaviour around risk - the assumption that because something will matter in the future, any price we pay for it today must be justified. He wants us to know that something can be revolutionary and STILL be overpriced… For anyone trying to understand what we might be missing in this AI moment and beyond, this is an essential conversation.
