REVEALED: Netanyahu got an explicit warning before Oct. 7. He didn't brief security chiefs haaretz.com/israel-news/isra…
Two days ago, we received an update from our shipping provider, ShipMonk. We're deeply saddened to share the news that the recent data breach affects more customers than originally thought.
Another 67,000 customers from the US who ordered between November 2019 and August 2021 were affected, with their full details (name, email, phone number, shipping address, order number) exposed.
All affected customers have been emailed directly. If you didn’t receive an email, then you are not affected.
Throughout our entire relationship with ShipMonk, we repeatedly requested and received written assurance confirming the deletion of the data, in line with our contract, data policy, and past communications. We are very disappointed that, despite receiving this confirmation, the data was not deleted in their systems.
Trezor systems were not compromised, and your device is secure. But please be alert for fake emails, phone calls, fraudulent letters, and potential risks to physical security.
NEVER share your wallet backup with anyone or type it into a website.
We’re terribly sorry to everyone affected. We take this matter very seriously and are working to ship anonymous delivery ASAP, so you can protect your personal information when placing an order.
For more information, visit our blog: trezor.io/blog/news/recent-c…
We have some difficult news to share. Unfortunately, one of our shipping providers has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive order data. This affects new customers in the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal who received an order within the 90 days prior to August 8th, 2026.
The data exposed:
- Full names
- Shipping addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
The incident affects 11,742 customers with full exposure (name, email, phone number, shipping address) and 1,947 customers with partial exposure (name, city, email). The breach is limited due to Trezor’s strict 90-day data storage policy (we were also able to negotiate the same terms with fulfillment partners, who follow the same policy).
All affected customers have been contacted separately by email.
Our systems and devices remain secure, but affected customers could experience an increase in phishing attempts.
NEVER enter your wallet backup on a website or share it with anyone, and only check for updates on official Trezor channels.
We are deeply sorry to the community and those affected.
We are investigating this situation and will post updates on our blog:

To dismiss victims of fraud as members of an out-group that brought it upon themselves is a common rationalization. It let’s you believe,“That could never happen to me.”
Well, it can.
A life well-lived requires trust — whenever trust is abused it demands sympathy and justice.

Yet there was never a word about the Celsius Network victims from Wendy O 🤔
Search her profile for “Celsius” and you can still find the videos of her shilling their discount code.
Guess CN is not gut wrenching, especially after interviewing Mashinsky đź«
Ionic’s Ward County facility was acquired from Core by Celsius as a means of resolving a contract dispute.
Core filed for bankruptcy to void their bad hosting contracts with Celsius Mining, which Celsius had contended left Core entirely responsible for increasing power costs.

Facts about @CelsiusFacts
❎ An organizer of the CEL short squeeze
❎ Submitted a “victim impact statement” asking for leniency for Alex Mashinsky — despite having less than a $500 claim
❎ Big ego with little to back it up, consistently makes errors which he refuses to correct

tf you talking about “good actor and great source of news”… He called Alex Mashinsky “the more conservative voice in an industry overflowing with unchecked greed” lol
This is the letter he wrote to the judge asking for leniency for Mashinsky

Seems like all the people who promoted single sig self custody and coldcards for beginners are themselves fine. So they didn’t verify the product, while possibly getting paid by the company, and they had more secure setups themselves than they promoted. Feels like all those influencers and so called experts rugged us.
I’ve had all my bitcoin stolen while away on holiday. It was on a Coldcard MK3.
I was led to believe this was really secure. It was recommended by experts including @saifedean. I also had the seed on a metal plate, hidden away.
When I got news of the hack on Friday I didn’t know what to do, whether to fly home and leave the family holiday or not.
Not until Saturday evening did I get the idea to ask my neighbour with the house key to find the seed for me.
Sunday morning I led the neighbour on an expedition around the house, restored the wallet, and it said zero bitcoin. I asked another friend to check on my software in the house. Zero.
It was all drained Saturday afternoon before I’d had the idea to get someone to find the seed.
This 2 bitcoin was supposed to be to give to my 2 children to give them a good start in life. Makes me tear up to think of it.
This comes as a terrible blow. The timing was so unlucky with being away, or I would have moved it in time.
@Coinkite, if there was any fairness, you would have to pay us our money back.
I just hope the US authorities find the culprits and the stolen bitcoin and return it to us.

For the record, as of 8/5/26, @CelsiusFacts announces he holds share(s) in Ionic Digital.

> Since when was bitcoin “only for developers” or coders or engineers?
Life requires you to have a basic understanding of a lot of things. You can't drive a car safely without understanding a bit of physics. You can't navigate personal finances without understanding some math and economics. Indeed, you can't securely use a computer without understanding what a secret is: passwords.
If you want to have control of your money, you need to have a basic idea of what a seed is. Yes, that probably means knowing what a random number is.
Sorry, but there's a limit to how simple things can be if we want to give people control of their money. And yes, that means that a non-trivial part of the world will always be too stupid to actually take full advantage of cryptocurrencies.
I have been getting thousands of comments like this.
Since when was bitcoin “only for developers” or coders or engineers?
What happened to bitcoin is for ANYONE? And fix the money fix the world? Or mass adoption????
Now its “if you dont understand it dont use it” , “its not for anyone” , blah blah blah.
The hypocrisy in the space these last few days has me EMBARRASSED to be want to be one of you. Ashamed to aspire to be a “bitcoin maxi”.
Good to know in a moment of crisis, yall are ruthlessly cruel, insensitive and plain rude.
Too bad Coldcard private keys are fully visible.
