There’s no surprise that AI brings just as many risks as it does opportunities. If not leveraged correctly, companies can actually increase bias instead of removing it. Read my thoughts and others for @Forbes. Thanks @rebekah_bastian for writing!

1. If you get ghosted or don’t hear back after applying for a job, there’s a 90% chance it was never seen (it’s not you!)
2. Screening tools can be helpful if built correctly, designed to remove bias instead of introducing it. @HelloKnac using AI for good is our north star.

The main inspiration behind @HelloKnac. Companies will always miss the best talent when the applicant pools are too large to manage, recruiters don’t have an unbiased way of assessing people, and pattern matching is the fastest ways to fill roles.
The process is broken.
A co or recruiter CAN set up an ATS to "knockout" #JobSeekers w/screening q's & when the app pool is large enough CAN completely miss you depending on keywords & search.
If #recruiters say it doesn't happen maybe it just doesn't happen at their co. But it IS an industry reality.

The 3 mistakes that are costing you your next opportunity:
1. Expecting to be a perfect fit
2. Coming in unprepared
3. Not keeping your options open

Let's talk reputation at a job:
Reputations are a HEAVY thing in corporate America. If you have a bad reputation it can be really hard to break from that. That's why it's so important to start things off on a good foot at your new position.
Toxic job? Here’s what you should do:
Companies treat the first 90 days of employment as a trial period. You should be doing the same. Take note of any unhappy coworkers, too much hierarchy, overworked employees, etc...
