Today, 11 November, we remember not just Armistice Day, but also the daring attack in 1940 by Swordfish biplanes on the Italian fleet at Taranto. It remains one of the many battle honours within the @RoyalNavy and the Fleet Air Arm

What do pilots do when something goes wrong? Many emergencies cannot be practiced in the aircraft, so a high-fidelity flight simulator is essential for effective training. This is ours, housed in our training facility in Cornwall.

Our Sea King helicopters are maintained in the hangar at our Portland heliport. Having our own location, spares supply and team of engineers makes us completely self-sufficient.
