4th generation Texas oilfield. 100+ countries over the past 30 years. My life as an international well control specialist.
Zombie wells tour with journalists today. Chevron allegedly plugged this one in the 1980s. #cvxblowout
Took less than 24 hours to confirm I can still get under Chevron’s skin by simply sharing the truth. #cvxblowout

The facts speak for themselves.
Texas needs 25 years of hands-on engineering competence on the Railroad Commission, not another political insider.
It’s weird. He only talks smack to women. I show up and he pulls a George Jones.
If you're wondering about the fight between the Railroad Commission and Texas Lege, the @houstonchron has an op-ed from @HawkDunlap about how the RRC recently stifled public comment.

Response from @ChristianForTX:
"This is an attack on democracy. Chairman Darby’s answer to a minor adjustment to the public-input process is to threaten the ultimate form of public input: Texans’ right to elect their Railroad Commissioners."
Guess he heard I was sitting in the Captiol waiting on him.
New: @ChristianForTX tells House Energy Resources chair @DrewDarbyTX he will not attend today’s interim that includes agency oversight. #txlege
“I also cannot ignore the political circumstances surrounding today’s hearing. A member of your committee is currently a candidate for RRC.”
Reminder - the railroad commission regulates oil and gas. Don’t let them distract you from the real issues. Like this mystery sludge leaking into the Pecos River in Ward County.
Reminder - come meet and greet with me and @Jon_RosenthalTX tonight in Odessa.
The Railroad Commission’s new public comment policy is “At the discretion of the Commission.” How has that worked out for groundwater conservation districts so far?
Opinion | Yes, they’re elected officials. And no, they don’t care what ordinary people have to say. houstonchronicle.com/opinion…
This can be sorted via mutual combat out behind the frac tanks. Between stages, of course. I got $100 on @DrewDarbyTX.
New: @DrewDarbyTX sent this letter to @ChristianForTX, the RRC today about its vote to nix the standalone public comment section of the agenda at future open meetings.
Adds that he will discuss it at the 9/15 Energy Resources meeting and “expects [Christian] to address it on the record.”
I think the cheese is slipping off the old man's cracker. He's forgotten who he works for. I look forward to his answers on September 15. See you in Austin. #txlege
Did the RRC cancel public input or just modernize rules to align with the way things are done at the Texas Legislature and other agencies?
There’s been a lot of misinformation, so let’s set the record straight. #txlege 1/5
