When Maggie was 47, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After hearing this, Maggie and her husband Charles were moved to a windowless corridor where they were left to process the news. She was determined that people should not “lose the joy of living in the fear of dying."

Really enjoyed meeting @marcusbrig @chris_kammy and @John_Whaite @PackedLunchC4 . Have always wanted to see live TV show being filmed (bucket list) and everyone was SO lovely. @RobinDow01 and I had the best time. And @marcusbrig gets award for best aftershave!

A visit to the Respiratory Clinic for a walking assessment @HarrogateNHSFT through the 🌈 tunnel. Really lifted my spirits on a rainy day. Fantastic, professional and friendly care. Result is some at home O2 to help bring sats back up on exertion. #somewherethrutherainbow

Been inpatient @HarrogateNHSFT since yesterday due to #cancer complications. Admitted onto Farndale Ward - care been exceptional. All staff smiling and professional. A feeling it is a happy team. Thankfully just a 1 night stay for me, but huge thanks to all involved in my care🙂
