Big thanks to everyone who campaigned for us and voted for us 🙏🏽

On why we must save Ridley Road Shopping Village: “In addition to goods that are being sold, the Village acts as a hub for people to meet. It’s a place where people come for general advice on all sorts of things related to health, well-being, and Black culture."

Hackney was inundated with #spycops. There were undercover police reporting on the Colin Roach Centre, the Hackney Community Defence Association, the Trevor Monerville Campaign & @HackneySwp, among others. Do contact your MP to demand the Public Inquiry can continue its work.
We're asking MPs to sign in support of the Early Day Motion, and help put pressure on the Home Office to ensure that the #spycops inquiry can continue as planned, and hear all the evidence...

Last week, @pilc_campaigns celebrated a major milestone: our ten-year anniversary!
Here’s to another 10 years of defending marginalised communities and campaigners, of challenging unlawful state practice and systemic injustice, and of using the law as a strategic tactic.
If this happens, the UK Government must take diplomatic action against Israel.
Hackney residents, then and now, stand against fascism
#OnThisDay in London's anti-fascist history, 1962: Fascist followers of Oswald Mosley got beat in running battles with Hackney Young Socialist supporters & others around Ridley Rd., Dalston. Fash meeting places were blockaded.
Good account of this era

Surrounded by police in a Penryn bus shelter for making breakfast with a butter knife.
When survival tasks like eating become a police matter, the system isn't failing—it's working exactly as designed to push people experiencing homelessness out of sight. 🧵

As an independent I received 20% of the vote in Holborn & St.Pancras against Keir Starmer. The poll below suggests 12% would still vote independent. I strongly encourage all those who supported me to vote for @ZackPolanski so we can consign not just Starmer but Starmerism too, to the dustbin of history

🚨 Hackney's Haifa twinning consultation is live
Pro-Israel groups are sure to be flooding it with responses. If they dominate, it can be used to block detwinning from Israel's military port
🇵🇸 Submit your response now consultation.hackney.gov.uk/… - you don't need to be from Hackney
Good luck Zack
It's on. I'm running to be the next Green MP for Holborn & St Pancras.

Today is the 53rd anniversary of the military coup in Chile, which overthrew the democratically elected Allende government.
I joined friends and comrades outside the Chilean embassy to commemorate those who were killed and disappeared. Nobody will ever be forgotten.

Amazing news about the #BuyBackBrixton Campaign who have today announced that their community led campaign is the preferred bidder to buy the iconic #BrixtonVillage and #MarketRow.
When I said we will always stand by the Community in #Brixton and #Lambeth I meant it.
Under my leadership @lambeth_council listed Brixton Village and Market Row as Assets of Community Value giving the campaign led by @AdvocacyAcademy and Brixton Traders the space they needed to put together their bid.

Tenants, housing campaigners, and MPs together at Parliament today to demand rent controls and council homes!
Housing is at the centre of the cost of living crisis. The government cannot continue to put private profit above human need!

This is absolutely excellent news.
The upgrade for Holborn and St. Pancras residents to go from Keir Starmer's lies, u-turns, freebies, genocide complicity and bitter factionalism to Zack Polanksi's honesty, decency, hope, change and standing up for the working class will be immeasurable.

Keir Starmer's legacy is division and injustice, beginning by expelling socialists from the Labour Party and ending as a deeply unpopular and corrupt prime minister who cut support to disabled people, provided military backing for genocide, and did so much more harm to our world.
This article discusses racism against Palestinian staff in the Rambam Hospital, which has been the focus of the twinning between Hackney and Haifa
