It’s officially @HackMIT weekend again!
The culmination of 8 months of prep, hundreds of meetings, thousands of emails, and way too many VLOOKUPs (yes I overuse this joke), it’s going to be awesome!
Great sponsors, swag, food, speakers, and of course an incredible selection of hackers flown in from around the world.
We’re so excited to show you what the team has been putting together for yall!!

This past weekend was my first HackMIT as co-director, and it really was an incredible experience meeting the ~1500 participants including hackers, judges, mentors, and sponsors who we flew out to our campus for one epic weekend. Huge shoutout to all of our incredible sponsors and volunteers, but above all I am so so so grateful and proud of the entire HackMIT organization team and my insanely cracked and goated co-director @nettedjay. Seeing the fruits of our labor (or labour as janet would say) was super surreal and gratifying, and I can't wait to do it all again (but better) for Blueprint and @HackMIT 26!

Winner of the Best Use of an AI Agent Prize at @HackMIT was Omen AI. 🏆
Disappointed by the limitations of tools like Siri, they developed a next-gen personal assistant.
By leveraging Fetch.ai's AgentVerse framework, Omen connects a network of specialized agents that handle everything!

🚨 Is North America slipping in blockchain? 🚨
Asia may be ahead, but @HackMIT proved North American devs are ready to dominate! 💥 Over 1,000 developers came to build the future of AI, Blockchain, & DePIN.
It’s time to spread awareness: decentralization is the key to a secure, user-controlled future.
Huge thanks to @JessieWritesx for leading an incredible workshop! 🙌
Next ICP stops: Token 2049 in Singapore with @ICPSingapore @dfinity lu.ma/chain-fusion-hub-at-to… & Michigan Midwest Blockchain Conference @UMich midwestblockchain.org/

Amazing weekend at @HackMIT. I was worried after only 2 teams came to my auth workshop, but it turned out 119 teams used Clerk 🤯
Seems most had it running before the workshop. Good on them for skipping, I would have too 🙂
I think we finally found a true-to-brand recipe for sponsoring hackathons. In the past, we tried to do "build the best Clerk integration" and it just didn't feel right. Teams were spending time thinking about how to make their Clerk integration more novel, and that whole concept is antithetical to our brand.
This time we did a lottery for anyone using Clerk. Teams didn't stress about customizing or coming up with something unique, they just installed and moved on to their real project.
That's exactly what we want, and exactly how the vast majority of our 5,000+ customers use Clerk.
