As @ChoAyaba is being tried in #Norway, it's important to take into consideration the unfolding events on the ground. Determining who is behind which crimes in #Ambazonia is very important for true #justice

As the sun sets on Biya's presidency in Cameroon, the sharks are circling to see who gets the seat of power when it becomes empty. When sharks circle, they eventually attack each other, as this @TheAfricaReport article describes.

A revolutionary may be killed but a revolution never dies!
Two countries; two maps!
#Cameroun and #Ambazonia
It's Ambazonia National Day - may Ambazonia shine like never before!
It’s dawned a new day in #Ambazonia; it's Ambazonia National Day.
Our story may not have changed, but the dynamics continue to evolve. We are the “Never Again” generation. Every day brings its pain, but also brings us closer to the #freedom.
Happy National Day, #Ambazonia. ✊🏾
In #Ambazonia, our people have been slain since October 1961, not because they committed crimes, but for exercising their #FreedomOfSpeech.
Their ghosts now walk among us, across our territory. That is why certain days are dedicated to remembering them. We remember. We resist.
October 2016 – October 2026.
Not just commemorating #Ambazonia National Day, but a decade of resistance. Call us “2 cubes of sugar in a basin of water” or a “bucket of resistance” - we don’t care. One thing is clear: our resistance will endure & lead us 2 our ultimate destination
He who lives by the sword dies by the sword. The same military that has been torching villages, killing & torturing our people has now begun turning its guns on itself. Violence has a way of consuming those who perpetuate it.
May justice prevail!

Breaking News: Two Cameroonian soldiers were found dead at the 501 Military Base in Bamenda, North West Region, on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in circumstances that remain unclear.
Preliminary reports allege that Corporal Yebmou Yves shot Sergeant Chief Mbeh Joseph before turning the weapon on himself.
The deceased have been identified as Sergeant Chief Mbeh Joseph, from the 2022 military contingent, and Corporal Yebmou Yves, from the 2011 contingent. Both were serving at the military base.
Military sources familiar with the incident say the corporal allegedly opened fire on his colleague before he was later found dead with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The motive and exact circumstances surrounding the deaths remain unknown. Military authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the incident.
The 501 Military Base is one of the installations supporting security operations in Cameroon’s conflict-hit North West Region.

#History may tell the story of past events, but it also helps us understand the present and shape the future.
What does 20th May mean to Southern Cameroons #Ambazonia?
For many, it marks the 1972 referendum that abolished the federal structure

One thing I know about #war is that, someone can decide to start it but it becomes complicated to end it. While every war has a goal, the impacts are far beyond our control. You can choose with whom you fight but you can't choose the impacts resulting from the fight.

The maritime boundaries in the Gulf of Guinea must reflect historical realities and the rights of the people of Southern Cameroons. Any negotiation that ignores these principles risks deepening regional instability. A just and internationally supervised process remains essential.

THE FORGOTTEN LANDS OF BIAFRA AND AMBAZONIA
“The biggest problem in Africa is the lack of understanding of our own history. When people forget their history, they repeat the same mistakes.”
History cannot be reversed. The decisions of the past—including 1961’s Resolution 1608 of the United Nations—cannot be undone. But history must be understood if justice and peace are to move forward.
For decades, the people of Biafra and Ambazonia have spoken about identity, dignity, and the right to determine their own future. These conversations should not be ignored. They should be addressed through dialogue, truth, and political solutions.
For over 11 years, I have been on a journey to expose human rights concerns affecting people in these regions. My voice is part of a broader call for awareness, accountability, and peaceful resolution.
Africa’s future must be built on justice, respect for human rights, and meaningful political dialogue.
The time has come to listen.
The time has come for solutions.

The current hikes in fuel prices around the world show how impactful Iran is in the global energy system. When tensions rise in that region, the whole world feels it at the pump. It also raises questions about how deeply geopolitics and energy interests are intertwined.
History shows that those who pay the price for war are usually the ones who never caused it. Ordinary people who neither wanted nor loved war end up suffering the most. Meanwhile, the reckless politicians who start wars rarely pay from their own pockets.
Power without wisdom is dangerous. Not everyone in charge should be - some in power should either be in the zoo or psychiatrist centre!
