This Young Man Was Tortured To D€ath By Local Security Men In Anambra State This incident happened in Ezinifite Nnewi South. The name of the victim is Emezie Chibueze, a 27 year old young man. He was accused of stealing a bunch of plantain and local security men came and arrested him. He was taken to the security office and tortured until he became unconscious. He was locked up for five days without food or water. Out of fear that the young man would pass out anytime soon, the security men quickly returned his unconscious body to his family. The family tried their best to save him, took him to a hospital but he could not be saved. What a very heartbreaking story. Why would the security men give him such level of torture for stealing a bunch of plantain? Why not give him some other punishments that are not life threatening? We keep seeing proofs that our security men need better training, and we wonder how many more people will fall victim before the government will look into the matter.
