Mole’s Move is a book for children living away from home. I have written this book as someone who was one of those children, to ensure that children can see their own experiences in Mole and feel less alone. The book also opens up a dialogue between the adult and the child about feelings, supporting articulation and emotional language for meaning making that can be hard to express for a child.

Animal instinct is amazing! This security camera captured the exact moment a little girl playing falls from a raft into the water, and amazingly, a nearby bull immediately intervenes to pull her out safely.

Edward listened to our young people, our countrymen and Misty the steer…what makes a cost effective and impactful education health and social care facility …it’s the countryside farming and people with belief and empathy who listen and understand our community needs

Maybe another piece of evidence supporting #Alternativeeducation that increases access to the outdoors @FutureRootsNet .young people manage their emotions and regulate behaviours so they are more able to learn and reach their potential
Longitudinally, vitamin D-deficient children with 25(OH)D levels below 50 nmol/L exhibited more aggressive behavior and a 1.8 times greater prevalence of clinical externalizing problems in adolescence, a median of 6 years later.

@FutureRootsNet sometimes young people need something different than classroom space and a general curriculum Alternative provision can help young people continue to learn, offer belonging, care and new opportunities. We see the difference Future Roots makes long term to many YP

Really excited to see getting close and connected to cows is officially a therapeutic activity. Bovine assisted therapy has been one of the main activities that make the most difference to young people at Future Roots especially our massive steers star and Misty @GMB

Why should we care about #bovineTB ?? Over 30500 cattle slaughtered across GB in 2022, often otherwise ‘fit’ animals, but positive to bTB, affects productivity, profitability & ultimately sustainability #controlthecontrollable @TB_Advisory @TotalDairy #totaldairy @sjtomo157

Last night I joined @FutureRootsNet on their community outreach project in Sherborne, which received funding through my Fix the Future fund.
We visited hotspots where young people are known to gather, including the local shops who reported a fall in ASB since the project began.
