Let's not forget - connectivity isn't an end. It's access to the services that connectivity is meant to create - and most of those services simply aren't designed for anything other than constant, stable bandwidth and power. Two things that don't exist in... lots of places.
Replying to @rightscon
@NeemaIyer biggest issue neglected in the debate is access and connectivity. "Marginalized people are left behind and the privileged have more power eg - not online less access to fact checking, gender digital divide, high internet costs"

"3.7 billion people still lack any form of online access, that's 49% of the world's population," mentioned @ITUDevelopment Director Doreen Bogdan-Martin (@ITUBDTDirector) @ #GDDF2021. "Getting the remaining half of the world online will be a whole different ballgame." #TechChange
