Today, and there are MANY variables, how much are we seeing CPA firms with 2 Million in Revenue selling for? Assume 40% of the revenue is monthly bookkeeping and payroll and 60% is tax prep and tax planning. One long term firm owner stays for 5+ years and other 2 1 year.

Lord, grant me the self-confidence of a client who demands I pay him interest for his delayed refund...caused by the W-2 he forgot to send me.

Have you heard?
There’s a new media outlet in Indiana, and its goal is to be one of your most trusted sources for news.
Check out Free Press Indiana News, or FPI News for short: bit.ly/4yurD91
No kidding this happened.
Client handles their own payroll in QBO with Intuit filing payroll forms.
Q1, Q2, and Q3 941 forms are filed.
Then inside QBO someone changed them from a 941 filer to a 943 filer around 10/1/2025.
Then Intuit filed a 943 with wages from the entire year on it.
Then client got a notice, sent it to me, and I went in and saw that payroll was set to 943. No one knew how that happened.
Then client called Intuit and got it changed back to 941 and clicked box to do it for all of 2026.
Then Intuit filed a Q1 941 in late May of 2026.
You could NOT make this up if you tried.

SCAMMED! For the first time in my life, I was scammed online tonight. I was rushing through a business registration and paid a scammer $299 through a fake look-alike web site. I presume that I will get the money back, but probably after much effort. It is frustrating because
I watched the second half of Spain beating France.
It was surprising.
Good for Spain.
France under performed in that game.
Indiana is awesome. Period.
Indiana should really be #1. No one should move here. Please stay away. Don't come here. We're full and horrible and there's no room and it's awful.
Thanks.

I still remember the client who came to me, from another CPA in town, with an RV on the books, took accelerated depreciation on all of it.
Then sold it...
I think we had two meetings in my office about it...
I hope Senator Mitch McConnell is happy and healthy.

But this story is very strange. He was taken to the hospital unconcious on June 14th, 2026. Effectively 4 weeks ago. ANd he has not been seen, released a video, his staff is saying nothing.
What is the status of Senator Mitch McConnell and I seriously hope he is happy and healthy.
What is the largest Office Space Reimbursement Expense you have seen on a tax return due to Business Use of the Home?
For me, a little over $15,500...
