"Dr. McKinney, why don't you have a service component to your classes?"
Because the best thing I can do to prepare you for your interactions in Memphis is to give you all of the content I can with regard to Black history. Put another way: you need every drop of this knowledge.

"Martin Luther King was a Lawbreaker"
Last April, @garrett_felber and @journaloffshoot shared a pamphlet of a 1970 essay by anarchist political prisoner Martin Sostre on distortions of MLK's legacy. Check it out—wise words from an important ancestor.

I see my name is trending today so I’m going to take this opportunity to say:
1) @GalGadot and I are part of a great sisterhood and I am so proud of her. No need to choose one Wonder Woman 😉
2) #VoteWarnock! 🍑

If I was an author with a book coming out next year:
-I'd share the cover as soon as it was finalized on social media
-I'd drop the pre-order link once it was live, too
-I'd email my family, friends, colleagues to let them know why pre-orders matter
But I'm not, so I won't :)
