Enjoy your new favela that you never planned to live in, Salt Lake City.
Now is the time to grab your neighbors and fight for your neighborhood.
A Salt Lake City plan to re-zone a whopping 77% of residential areas to a high-density rental hellscape (yes homes will be torn down) is being discussed TODAY at the Salt Lake City Council Work Session which begins at 4 pm — this is last on the agenda (could be subject to change since they know I’m pushing this).
This will DESTROY SLC and is one of the most important things to push back on that I’ve seen in 2026– and is all downstream from illegal immigration. Will allow single family homes to be torn down for apartments— including section 8 units— in 77% of the city.
They’re calling it “expanding housing options” — I’m calling it High Density Hell. (1/6)

I pay 15.3% of my income for the wealthiest generation in history to receive a universal basic income and government healthcare, plus another 15-20% in other taxes.
Yes, I absolutely support redirecting less than 1% of the federal budget to support me and my friends. Not hard.

@ICEgov Logan, UT is ripe for the picking. Just hang out at Costco on any given Sunday and you’ll be able to fill truck fulls with 3rd world biomass.
If I was illegally in the United States, I would see myself out on my own terms before this happens. Time to get while the gettin’ is good.
The videos flooding social media right now from deportees dropped off in Mexico prove the entire enforcement landscape has fundamentally changed—and it is a complete nightmare scenario on the ground. 🚨✈️
For years, the standard procedure was dropping people off in border cities like Tijuana, where established shelters at least provided a safe place to sleep, eat, and shower. Not anymore.
Deportees are now reporting being scattered across all parts of Mexico—including tourist hubs like Cancun—and virtually dumped straight onto the streets to fend for themselves with absolutely nothing.
The reality being recorded on the ground right now is staggering:
•The Financial Illusion: They are being dropped off with no cell phones, no cash, and handed debit cards that have a grand total of zero dollars on them.
•The ID Lockdown: All U.S.-issued identification is confiscated. They are handed a flimsy piece of paper identification that local Mexican establishments and banks completely refuse to accept.
•The Western Union Trap: Because they lack valid, accepted ID, they can’t even walk into a Western Union or money transfer location to receive emergency funds sent by loved ones. They are completely locked out of the financial system.
They are stuck, homeless, stripped of communication, and stranded in unfamiliar cities with no shelter infrastructure.
Those on the ground are putting out a massive warning to everyone else: the current deportation protocol is harsher, more chaotic, and way worse than it has ever been before. The safety nets are completely gone.
It’s because 49.7% of students are foreign ESL anchor babies from places with a mean IQ at clinically retarded levels. Got any other brain busters, Spencer?
Reading can shape the course of a child’s life, and that foundation starts long before third grade.
Right now, only 50.3% of Utah third graders are reading on grade level. We have more work to do, and it will take all of us.
Today, Abby and I launched Utah Reads, a statewide effort to help parents and caregivers make reading with their children a simple, daily habit. Ten minutes with a book. Reading during breakfast or before bed. Talking about the story together. Small moments at home can make a lasting difference.
And this October, we’re inviting Utahns across the state to join us for a statewide Read-a-thon and help build a stronger culture of reading in Utah.

I'd be perfectly okay forfeiting 100% of my Social Security benefits if the government would refund everything I've paid in over the years.
I'll sign a contract. No benefits.
Just give me my money back.
Brazilian immigrant tells Utahns that immigrants are not the problem.
People that truly think THE ONLY reason or THE MAIN REASON for house prices being so crazy expensive right now are illegal immigrants are extremely uneducated.
Do we have an illegal immigrant problem in the US? Yes.
Do we have an illegal immigrant problem in Utah? Kinda.
Are illegal immigrants part of the problem with house prices? Yes.
Are illegal immigrants THE ONLY reason or even THE MAIN REASON? No they are not.
Serious question, how do democrats do such a good job of getting their team to row in the same direction? You never see this issue of moderate democrats jamming up their own party’s agenda like you do with republicans.
I’ve been applying @skindotfood topical E on my arms and shoulders nightly and it gives me a crazy pump. Like I just got out of the gym. Loving this product.

Customer agrees to $6k for a gravel job.
Contractor brings in multiple crews and kills himself to finish it in under 6 hours so they can enjoy it before the holiday.
Customer’s response?
“You finished too fast… I’m only paying you $3,000.”
This cheap, entitled parasite really tried to stiff the man who went above and beyond because he was too good at his job.
The audacity is disgusting.
You don’t get to punish someone for working hard and delivering early, you lowlife.
Contractor was right — don’t ever call him again.
Some customers are just straight trash. 💀
This is infuriating. Just look at all of the NGOs and private entities with their hands in your pockets. In “conservative,” “fiscally responsible” ruby red Utah, no less.
I wasnt kidding when i said the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity is Utah's USAID. These lists should piss you the hell off. The Grand and Little America needed over half a million each in grants. Youll see MIDA, Inland Port, Silicon Slopes... to which they already get money from the general budget. Keep in mind the final single digit number is how MANY times it got paid. So if its 3, that means 3x the amount.
Teachers get the most unearned amount of valor in all of the labor force. It’s a chosen profession. A job. Just like anyone else. Their compensation is extremely generous based on hours worked. Most of these people are completely unremarkable and don’t belong on a pedestal.
