Haven't posted here for a good bit, but... My daughter and I are on a quest, if you will, to paddle the length of the Wabash River, from it's only dam in Huntington to the Ohio River. We are about 25%of the way thru. This is how this leg started. Volume up.

Don't care what the weatherman says, the shear numbers of deer and turkeys I saw in the fields when I went to pull my blind this afternoon tells me the weather's coming.

Made brats and beef snack sticks, and ate some really well done smoked pork shoulder yesterday at a Grad Open House. Smoked brisket flat today. Used an old fashioned method that involved smoking and serving the brisket without taking pictures. 😆 Good Weekend.
