Alright. I’m a LA Kings fan tonight. Pens need a little help from a friend to get through this rough patch until they can get the band back together. #LetsGoPens
It’s here. Giant clouds of yellowish green pollen with every breeze.
Plantation pine forests took over the area after cotton was no longer king in this part of the state.

Alright. Reading through all of the people losing their minds over the Women’s hockey thing…. Congrats on the Gold. The US women team is leaps and bounds ahead of other countries with Canada being the closest. Why is that? It’s because we put so much support into it.
Move on.
In hockey, the team that has the highest score at the end of the game is victorious.
Had Sid been playing, maybe a different outcome. But the bottom line is today, the Gold goes to USA Hockey. Canada was stacked on paper. But that’s why you play the game.

I had a buddy in the Marine Corps who was originally from Colorado. He was a machine gunner in the reserves but worked on a crew on his civilian time in college doing this with a 105. He later became an Infantry Officer, which is where I met him.

These walls were trees not long ago. Another trailer load of lumber complete.
Planning to finish up the back roll-up door tomorrow.
Then it’s back to the mill on my next day off.
Getting there.
