Somalia’s lame duck president.

President @HassanSMohamud thinks he can play despotic in a fragile nation like Somalia. He needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and save the nation, otherwise he’ll plunge the country into yet another war crisis.
The President, whose mandate has expired and continues to illegally occupy Villa Somalia, deployed security forces to the headquarters of the Supreme Court, the highest court in the country, with the intent of obstructing the delivery of a Supreme Court Judgment. He also attempted to unilaterally remove the Chief Justice. The purported removal is unconstitutional, null and void and without legal effect.

The power of America's democracy to self correct is remarkable and has few parallel in the West. For two years, America had a President in Trump who saw himself as an Emperor above law, a Supreme Court that danced to his tune, a legislature that was a rubber stamp with zero oversight over the executive. Then one morning on 3rd November, the American people woke up, went to the polling stations and swept aside Trump and his entire Kleptocracy. The people's power to cleanse their democracy, through elections and remind the politicians who the ultimate bosses are, is a very powerful tool in their hands.

Heartfelt Congratulations to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar on Your Re-election to the United States Congress🙏. Your victory is not merely a personal political triumph; it is a collective moment of pride, inspiration, and celebration for the Somali people across the globe. From the Horn of Africa to the Americas, Europe, Asia, and beyond, wherever Somalis call home, we remain one people, bound by a shared ancestry, an enduring identity, a proud heritage, and an unbreakable sense of belonging. National borders may define our citizenship, but they can never erase our common roots, diminish our shared identity, or weaken the bonds that unite us as a people. Your success is our success. Your achievements are our collective pride. Your triumph reminds every Somali child, wherever they may be born or raised, that their dreams have no boundaries and their potential knows no limits. May your continued leadership inspire generations to rise above limitations, break barriers, and carry our shared heritage with dignity, courage, and distinction. Different nationalities. Different passports. Different continents. ONE PEOPLE. ONE HERITAGE. ONE SHARED PRIDE. Our unity is our identity. Our solidarity is our strength. Our collective success is our greatest triumph! ‘Tonight we can turn that inshallah into alhamdulillah’. Democrat Abdul El-Sayed gave an impassioned victory speech as he beat Republican Mike Rogers in the Michigan senate race.

With the calamitous midterm elections results coming in, President Trump as a lame duck president will be ruling America for the reminder of terms from Mara-lago. Trump will move out of the WhiteHouse house anytime.

The American People have spoken by exercising their right to vote in a democratic society. And they showed that they were tired of the high inflation and high prices everywhere. Outstanding job ladies and gentlemen. Sadly I can see some lawsuits being filed to recount some votes or recheck voting stations in certain states, because of the unbelievable, monumental defeat.

That was edge of your seat viewing, defence vs attack, today defence won. The Arsenal defence was magnificent, Liverpool literally didn’t get a look in, up the Arsenal second title on the bounce incoming. #COYG #LIVARS

Arsenal are the FIRST team since records began in 2003-04 to prevent Liverpool from registering a single shot on target in a Premier League game at Anfield 🧱
