Tras las graves amenazas realizadas por los EEUU y sus interferencias con Starshield en Ucrania, es una prioridad vital que Europa cree su propia constelación de comunicaciones soberanas
🇪🇺🛰️ FT: Europe’s biggest telecom operators are teaming up to challenge Starlink. Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone are exploring a joint bid for EU satellite spectrum to offer direct-to-smartphone connectivity. The initiative aims to reduce Europe’s dependence on U.S. satellite providers amid growing transatlantic tensions. The companies would build ground infrastructure and partner with an existing satellite operator rather than launch their own satellites.

If Trump is able to block and delay Lockheed Martin Air defence products that Europe has paid for then the problem goes way beyond just Musk and Starlink. This has serious implications for European Defence.
Zelensky tells Bloomberg steps have been taken to pressure Ukraine into capitulating to Russia, though he stops short of blaming US partners directly, saying "that's just how it looks." He again offers to halt strikes on Russian refineries in exchange for more Patriot missiles, and says US-Russia relations may ease after the midterms, calling the current moment "agony." He also says the US is delaying Patriot interceptor deliveries, with Ukraine getting just 12 now versus four times that under Biden, despite paying for them through the PURL program. On Trump and Putin, he says Trump has genuinely good relations with Putin but "can't make him end the war." bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Casualties have been evacuated to a multitude of medical facilities to receive the best care our system has to offer.” Rutland thanked medical personnel, first responders, STARS, air ambulance crews, and military aviation teams for their rapid response. The Canadian Forces National Investigation Service, 1st Military Police Regiment Incident Response Team, RCMP, and CAF Fire Marshal team members are investigating. “Our top priority at this time is care of soldiers and families. On this day in 1911, Roald Amundsen and four companions left the Bay of Whales to begin their historic journey to the South Pole. Parece que algo muy serio ha ocurrido en una base militar en Canadá.
Hospitals across Alberta, Canada are reportedly being overwhelmed by the number of injured from the ongoing major fire at CFB Wainwright, the cause and extent of which is still unknown, with details being kept very quiet by the Canadian Ministry of National Defense. Some sources place the number of dead in the dozens with hundreds of injuries, though nothing has been verified by officials in Canada.
