We've seen a lot of bills from the @ALGOP increasing penalties for crimes but not a single one trying to actually have the people sent to ADOC get rehabilitation. Men are waiting 8 months to a year to take a substance abuse class and we expect them to come out rehabilitated?

97% of parole-eligible people have been denied this month. The argument that this protects the public falls apart when the prison system already found 74 in this group no risk to themselves or others & sends them outside the fence to work unsupervised.

Prison abolition is not just a radical idea, it's a necessary one. We need to re-imagine justice in our society, one that values rehabilitation, restorative justice, and human rights for all. Let's work towards a world without prisons. #PrisonAbolition #BurnThePrisons

We are living in a day where laws are made more for political gain, than “moral” or “public safety” standards. Politicians throw the words “public safety” around to appeal to their audience to gain votes and political status when they could care less about the “public’s safety”

#stabbing
There's been quite a few stabbings today throughout ADOC. In fact, it's been so many and it happens so much I don't even care to post the specifics and details. Why can't the ADOC just die and let the people live.
