Exclusive: Asylum seekers are being told “men and women are equal” in the UK amid mounting fears over integration and cultural values.
The Home Office has issued new guidance to arrivals telling them “this means women can work, study, travel and make their own choices”.
They also detail what rape is under UK law in a new booklet: "Consent is needed in every situation. This means even if you are married or in a relationship with someone, they must consent to sex every time.
"If you have sex with someone without their consent, this is called rape. Rape is a serious crime in the UK. You could go to prison, lose your support and accommodation, and it will affect your asylum claim."

We're publishing another section of the CGS's speech today—the one in which he said the UK faces sacrifices over defence.
In it, he outlines the changing nature of combat, telling 700 soldiers they need to be the best at killing enemies at a distance immediately to their front.
It's a matter of military doctrine, which has for decades—he says—been focused on engaging the forward edge of an enemy at a distance of about 400 metres. Ukraine has significantly changed this, to distances of zero to forty metres. Stay tuned to @ForcesNews.

EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph.
The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries.
‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement.
But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe.
The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown.
‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.

One day the head of the UK army speaks in the gravest terms about the threat of war; the next foreign secretary Ed Miliband and chancellor John Healey are performing like juveniles on video. Will the last person in Britain turn the lights out ?
The head of the army has told hundreds of his soldiers that the country will need them to fight in a war given the “extreme jeopardy in the world at the moment”.
General Sir Roly Walker, chief of the general staff, said the “business of soldiering” had returned to the national psyche and that the country’s days of not having to think about conflict were over.
The former special forces commander, who survived a Taliban bomb, warned that “very soon” political leaders would have a “frank conversation” with ordinary citizens about how they needed to get ready.

Zelensky responded with a smile when a Sky News journalist asked whether Trump was trying to make him a “scapegoat” for his own problems, including low ratings, high diesel prices and the course of the war in the Middle East. The Ukrainian president initially remained silent, then smiled and replied: “That is my answer.” #Ukraine

EXCLUSIVE: @Nigel_Farage speaks to the @Daily_Express about the ITV probe into Reform UK.
He said: “They wouldn't do it to anybody else, would they? I mean, they've spent a year on this, goodness knows how much money.
“The worst miscreant, whose quotes have been all over the BBC and everywhere, was, of course, a long-term Tory councillor.
“But he was never followed undercover as a Tory councillor, was he? But he has been in Reform.
“They have met literally hundreds of people. They've been to all the by-elections.
“They've spoken to hundreds of people. They've tried to provoke conversations, and they've managed to find a handful of people who said unpleasant things, which we have acted on already.
“The idea that this is somehow a failure of our vetting is absolutely for the birds. You can't vet what people are going to say in the future. You can't vet what people say to each other."
Asked if Reform was attracting the wrong sort of character, Mr Farage said: "Not compared to the Conservative Party, no.
"The worst miscreant was a long-term Conservative. A Kemi supporter."
There is so much that is wrong with this.
But that final line is particularly galling.
EXCL: The mother of Henry Nowak’s killer will be released early from prison.
Kiran Kaur will serve just one year of her three year prison sentence for taking the knife from her son.
She’ll be released around the anniversary of Henry’s death in Dec.

‘I just said yes so they would go away afterward…I just knew to nod my head and say ‘yes’, and they would leave me alone afterwards and they did.’ In his own words, Sir David Amess' Islamist murderer sums up our terrorist risk management capability.

Exclusive: Labour’s bid to “silence” women terrified by the asylum housing crisis is identical to the treatment of grooming gang victims, ministers were told.
Andy Burnham and Shabana Mahmood were accused of using “class as a weapon” to ignore warnings they will “suffer” at the hands of men “from cultures where women are treated worse than animals”.
Nine women from Piddington descended on Parliament on Wednesday to demand Labour shelves plans to house 1,256 asylum seekers next to the Oxfordshire village.
They insisted ministers must “get a grip” of the “out of control immigration” crisis. But hundreds of MPs symbolically voted for the proposal, despite widespread public outrage, and rejected calls to leave the European Convention on Human Rights.
Shadow Women’s Minister @joymorrissey launched a scathing attack on proposals to house migrants at MoD Bicester, declaring the men will “blight” the area.
“Using class as a new weapon to silence concerns. It is a dangerous, lazy approach from a Government that is supposed to unite our country.
“This isn’t about class, race or anything else that the party opposite wants to use to silence those speaking up.
“That technique was used to silence rape gang victims in our cities and towns and it’s appalling Labour has not learned from that scandal.
“This is about women speaking up about fears for their safety and their children.”
And some of @PiddingtonNews villagers agreed.
Victoria Hubbocks told the Daily Express: "I see comparisons on our campaign and the grooming gang scandal in one important respect: women raised serious concerns, both for themselves and for the country, yet too often felt ignored and unheard by those in positions of power.
"I had hoped that the government would take the lessons of history seriously and ensure that the same mistakes were not repeated. However, the fact that no Labour backbench women remained in the chamber to listen to the opposition debate has left me deeply concerned.
"When women raise legitimate concerns about issues that affect both their lives and the wider country, those concerns deserve to be heard, acknowledged and taken seriously, regardless of political affiliation."
Fellow villager Sandra Innes said: "Our concerns are being completely dismissed and marginalised.
“If that continues then we could end up in a situation where women and children become victims in a similar way to the grooming gang scandal.
"How many times do we need to be ignored before something serious happens?”
NEW: Some of the Piddington women are sitting in the front row of the public gallery as @joymorrissey warns of the threat posed by illegal migrants.
This bit was particularly striking: “The Government has said middle class areas need to bear their fair share. Using class as a new weapon to silence concerns. It is a dangerous, lazy approach from a Government that is supposed to unite our country.
“This isn’t about class, race or anything else that the party opposite wants to use to silence those speaking up. That technique was used to silence rape gang victims in our cities and towns and it’s appalling Labour has not learned from that scandal. This is about women speaking up about fears for their safety and their children.
“The Prime Minister should listen, the benches opposite should listen. They know these women and their communities will suffer. They know this because we already have proof. Communities across this land have seen their women and girls’ lives ruined. Ruined by a fundamental failure from this Government to protect them from the threat posed by men who come here illegally."
