His name is Alex. Mental health and physical disabilities took his ability to work. Benefits don’t cover the basics. He and his dog Hercules are living between a tent and a dying car in Scotland🏴.
Hercules isn’t a pet. He’s Alex’s battle buddy🥰and the reason he hasn’t given up yet.

We have tried all armed forces charities that we have made contact with, we have tried local Armed Forces Champions, we have tried local authorities and the individual is now due to be #StreetHomeless it has been almost six months and nothing has gone right from organisations….
Meant to help, the veteran has a dog and has only been offered one unsuitable property in the time we have engaged with the local authorities. In my honest opinion the #ArmedForcesCovenant has not helped or added anything to the resolution, this country needs a positive change.

Without that insight, decisions are made that miss the mark—leading to flawed conclusions about how veterans actually access and receive support

While initiatives like Op VALOUR are a step in the right direction, they still don’t fully address the gaps or the real needs of the veteran community
One of my biggest frustrations in the #Veteran space is hearing: “we’re doing this because the Armed Forces Covenant says veterans shouldn’t be disadvantaged.” It often feels like ticking a policy box rather than a genuine desire to help.
The veterans sector is broken, I have a renewed passion for creating the systemic changes required to put the veteran first at all times.

Why is there a blanket media cover up of the decades of miss treatment of veterans directly and their claims for injuries in service by @VeteransUK_MOD staff ?

Any journalists interested in a few veterans stories from all over the uk about the horrors and decades of direct miss treatment by the staff within @VeteransUK_MOD .
This goes back more than 40 years and caused hundreds of veterans suicides !!!
