The Late Governor Uduaghan gave me the first ever cash prize in my life when I won an academic competition back then in Warri. Back then it was a very hefty sum of money, even by today’s standards.
May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

We the people of EDO Central has lost a Son 💔 2026 please go !
I received with deep sadness the news of the passing of my predecessor and brother, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan.
As the Governor who served Delta State before me, Dr. Uduaghan was an important part of our state’s journey. His years of service and contributions to Delta’s development remain part of our collective history.
This is such a painful loss to us as a family. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his wife Roli, children and the entire Uduaghan family. I pray that God will comfort them and grant them the strength to bear this great loss.
May the Almighty God grant Dr Uduaghan eternal rest, and may the legacy of his service continue to be remembered.
Rest in peace, Dr. Uduaghan.

NIGERIA NEEDS SOLUTIONS, NOT EXCUSES!
Millions of Nigerians are yearning for a country where hard work pays, businesses can survive, education is accessible, security is guaranteed, and families can afford the basic necessities of life.
Our people deserve more than promises. They deserve leadership that listens, policies that work, and a government that takes responsibility for its decisions.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar represents our call for a new direction. His vision must be judged by the solutions he proposes for Nigeria’s economic challenges, job creation, education, insecurity, and the rising cost of living.
The mission is bigger than any individual. It is about rescuing Nigeria, restoring hope, rebuilding our economy, and creating opportunities for every Nigerian, regardless of tribe, religion, or region.
The time has come to put Nigerians first!
2027 IS OUR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Vote Atiku Abubakar. Vote ADC. Let’s Rescue, Revive and Restore Nigeria!

PRESS STATEMENT
ADC-PCC: Kwankwaso Cannot Distract Us; His Response Exposes Alleged Alliance with APC, Tinubu
…Challenges NDC Vice-Presidential Candidate to Stop Attacking Atiku and Confront Tinubu Over Nigeria’s Worsening Crisis
The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council (ADC-PCC) has dismissed Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s response to its earlier statement as diversionary, insisting that his reaction has further raised questions about his political alignment with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The ADC-PCC had earlier advised Kwankwaso, the vice-presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), whose presidential candidate is Peter Obi, to stop attacking the ADC presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and redirect his energy towards holding the ruling APC accountable for its failures.
The Council maintained that, as an opposition figure, Kwankwaso should be challenging the Tinubu administration over the worsening economic hardship, insecurity and declining living standards confronting Nigerians, rather than repeatedly targeting Atiku and the ADC.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Director of Media and Publicity of the ADC-PCC, Kola Ologbondiyan, said Kwankwaso’s response had failed to address the substance of the Council’s concerns.
According to the ADC-PCC, Kwankwaso casually mentioned the APC in his defence but devoted much of his response to attacking the ADC, a development it said raised questions about his priorities as an opposition leader.
“Why is Senator Kwankwaso making our candidate the issue instead of confronting the ruling APC, whose policies have made life increasingly difficult for millions of Nigerians?” the Council asked.
It argued that Nigerians were more concerned about hunger, insecurity, high fuel prices, the depreciation of the naira and the crushing economic hardship under the APC-led government than political exchanges among opposition figures.
The Council insisted that these national challenges should be the priority of any politician genuinely committed to providing an alternative to the Tinubu administration.
It further challenged Kwankwaso to explain why his political attacks appeared more frequently directed at Atiku and the ADC than at the ruling party responsible for the country's current challenges.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the ADC cannot and will not be distracted by Senator Kwankwaso,” the Council declared.
Describing the ADC as a strong and increasingly accepted political platform, the ADC-PCC said it remained focused on mobilising Nigerians around its commitment to rescuing the country from what it described as the failures of APC governance.
The Council also challenged Kwankwaso to stop using attacks on the ADC to curry political favour with the ruling party and instead demonstrate the courage to openly align himself with the APC if he shares its political agenda.
The ADC-PCC reaffirmed its determination to remain united, focused and committed to offering Nigerians a credible alternative in the 2027 general election.

Let it also be known to you: Our duty is to expose transactional politician like you who are working covertly in support of Tinubu but lack the courage to come out boldly & declare it but faking an opposition.
You are still playing the 2023 play book - Divide opposition votes
I have noted with deep concern the conduct of the ADC campaign team. The attacks directed at me, our presidential candidate His Excellency Peter Obi, and our party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), are unnecessary and unhelpful.
Rather than focusing on presenting the competence, credibility, and capacity of their own candidate as we have consistently done by placing our credentials and record of achievements before Nigerians, the ADC Presidential Campaign Council appears intent on creating mischief against our party and ticket. This includes attempts to portray us as working for the ruling party or to suggest that we may withdraw from the race in favour of the ADC candidate at the last minute.
The ADC-PCC would be better served directing its energy toward rebutting the serious allegations levelled against their candidate by the Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, instead of targeting me and His Excellency Peter Obi.
We are aware that the ADC-PCC may try to mislead our supporters on the eve of the election by claiming that we intend to withdraw in their favour. Let me state clearly and unequivocally: we will not withdraw our candidature for the ADC or any other party. We remain confident in our capacity, competence, and readiness to lead Nigeria.
The OK ticket is neither working for nor acting on behalf of the APC or any of its candidates. We see no possibility or reason to withdraw from the presidential race in favour of the ADC candidate or any other. These claims are unfounded and should be treated as such.
The APC-led government has failed Nigerians. The ADC offers no better alternative. We believe the OK ticket presents a credible and viable option, backed by proven capacity, a strong track record, credibility, and broad support across both Northern and Southern Nigeria. It is a healing ticket committed to uniting our country and tackling critical challenges in security, education, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, the economy, and other key sectors.
We believe the NDC remains the most formidable and viable opposition party in the country. I therefore urge all our supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to continue working toward the victory of our great party.
Nigeria will be OK. - RMK
