Earlier today, @ShehuAA and his entourage paid a condolence visit to the parents and families of the 37 youths who tragically lost their lives in the mining incident in Minna, Niger State.
The visit was to commiserate with the bereaved families, extend condolences, and stand with them in this difficult moment.

INDEPENDENT COMMITTEE OF INQUIRY INTO REPORTED DEATHS OF 37 PERSONS IN NSCDC CUSTODY COMMENCES SITTINGS
The Independent Committee of Inquiry into the reported deaths of 37 persons in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has commenced sittings, following its inauguration by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Committee's Secretary, Professor Isa Hayatu Chiroma, SAN.
According to the statement, the Committee held its inaugural meeting immediately after being sworn in and adopted a work plan to guide the conduct of its investigation.
In line with this work plan, the Committee will visit all relevant sites, engage with relevant government agencies, and interview survivors, suspects and other persons with material knowledge of the incident. It will also gather all documents and other materials necessary to establish the full facts of the matter.
The Committee's medical team has already begun work to determine the cause, mechanism and manner of the deaths.
The Committee appeals to members of the public to support its work and has resolved to invite memoranda from interested individuals and organisations. Details regarding the submission of memoranda, including the venue and date for physical presentations, will be communicated in due course.
The Committee reaffirms its commitment to conducting a thorough, fair, transparent and evidence-based inquiry, and will keep the public informed as its work progresses.

APC and Batists, this is Canada's Prime Minister, Mark Carney, speaking to the Canadian Parliament Members.
The Prime Minister stated that his government is relentlessly focused on bringing down costs for Canadians.
Cutting taxes on income, cutting taxes on first-time buyers, the groceries and essential benefits, 12 million Canadians are getting benefits in October 2026.

If Canada government can work to improve affordability for Canadians certainly Atiku Abubakar will do the same for Nigerians.

In May 2001, President Obasanjo was scheduled to make a 3-day working trip to Japan.
He drove to the airport, where it is reported that he waited for roughly three hours.
Why? His Vice-President Atiku was airborne and unable to land because of bad weather. Obasanjo waited until his VP touched down, before he boarded his own flight to Japan.
This was in keeping with Nigerian state protocol and national security convention, that the President and Vice President should never be out of the country at the same time.
