[Subnautica spoilers?] I found a time capsule with 5 tools but they were duplicates so I kept one and threw the rest away. Later I noticed it had an alien battery in it, guess I just binned 4 valuable power sources >:-(
[Subnautica spoilers?] If I rarely use a tool then I remove its battery and use it in other tools or crafting. Use a flat battery to craft a tool and you get a fully charged new one
