Officer Darby’s chicken, The Fuzz, needs a sponsor! Fuzz is a funny Cinnamon Queen hen who likes to have her picture taken. She loves eating kale and lettuce in the garden when she escapes the coop. Also she ❤️ the lights on the patrol car! @LexingtonPD The Fuzz needs a share!

When a student walks over to you with this Polish Frizzle and asks, “What is this?!” 🤣🤣 Fair question, but it’s just Shakira our newest member of the @LakesideMS_Lex1 flock!

When starting a new unit on chickens it’s important to work with real models. Michelle the chicken is looking fantastic in this excellent diagram by Aaron C in 6th grade!

Eating their leafy greens 🥬 This dinosaur kale is delicious right out of the garden! It’s a good feeling when you see students run up to grab some veggies and start snacking on plants they’ve grown themselves! @LakesideMS_Lex1
