TRAFFIC ALERT - Be aware that there will be overnight lane closures in the area of Augusta Road/US-1 at Cedarcrest Drive while contractors install a new concrete median.
This project is anticipated to take two weeks and there will be other overnight closures as work continues.

LPD needs to identify these two alleged shoplifters who took over $800 of merchandise from Kohl's on Sunset Boulevard on July 27, 2026.
The subjects left the store parking lot in a gray sedan.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Use caution in the 4800 block of Augusta Rd due to a single car collision. Outbound lanes of Augusta Rd at Dooley Rd are blocked. The traffic control devices closer to the entry/exit ramps of I20 are not functioning as a result. Emergency personnel are on scene.
PLEASE SHARE: On 9/26/26, at 7:00p.m., Farrah Rusinyak was last seen leaving her residence on Riverbirch Rd. It is believed she is wearing all black clothing and does not have a cellphone or any electronic devices in
her possession.
The juvenile is 15 years old with brown hair and brown eyes. She stands at 5’1 and is 120 pounds.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Please avoid the area of Sunset Boulevard at Old Cherokee Road if possible. Both inbound lanes of Sunset Blvd are blocked and traffic is being diverted onto Old Cherokee Road. Emergency personnel are on scene.
TRAFFIC ALERT - A tree that fell on power lines has the signal lights out on South Lake Drive/SC-6 at Gibson Road.
If passing through the area, be alert for an officer who is directing traffic at that intersection.

TRAFFIC UPDATE - Thanks to the quick response from @domenergysc, all lanes of East Main Street/US-1 at Harmon Street have reopened after a natural gas leak at the Old Mill.
All Old Mill businesses have reopened which were closed during the gas leak.
TRAFFIC ALERT - A natural gas leak at the Old Mill has outbound traffic on East Main Street/US-1 at Harmon Street merged into the median around first responders and @domenergysc.
All businesses at the Old Mill have been evacuated and are closed until the gas leak has been fixed.
