“Obviously just some disappointment that #Mayo wasn’t selected for the #Afcon squad despite being top goal scorer in the league. We will have the job of keeping him motivated. Same with #Ambina.”

“This year, #DHLStadium is a few million Rand short of being self-sufficient. So we’ve done extremely well compared to other World Cuo stadiums in other cities.” - @geordinhl on how the City keeps the CT Stadium afloat. #DiskiNites
“The stadium name is actually supposed to be The #DHL Cape Town Stadium. They just happen to also be the sponsors of The Stormers. The deal is coming to an end next year.” - @geordinhl on the CT Stadium naming rights & strong relationship with rugby. #DiskiNites
“Judging from the two team’s current form. I’d have to say Cape Town City. 2-1 to Cape Town City. I’m sad I’m going to miss the match.” - Mayor @geordinhl’s prediction for Saturday’s #iKapaDerby ⚽️ #DiskiNites

Hey @TheeMissLee remember 2016 when we were living and breathing all things sports and media. It feels like an entire lifetime ago that I was a Media Manager with a phone always connected to a power bank. Also shout-out to @DiskiNites @umjaka what a time this was too!
Wishing @CapeTownCityFC & @StellenboschFC everything of the best for today's derby clash! One of many many more to come!
I see a lot of tweeps calling it #IkapaDerby? If that's what we're going with then let's make it trend!
See y'all at Danie Craven!
