IOPC are investigating a single crewed officer on their way to administer critical care to the two Nottingham stab victims & because the fleeing killer’s vehicle has been captured on the dash-cam momentarily, the killer’s actions may have been influenced. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-no…

We don’t talk enough about Compassion Fatigue…👀 It can affect all public facing emergency service staff. If you deal with trauma it has the potential to absorb your ability to be compassionate to others. It can lead to burnout & depression. We need to do more to identify it. #MentalHealth🚨#ThinBlueLine #MentalHealthAwareness 💯

A heartfelt shoutout to the awesome army of nurses everywhere who save lives and care for the sick 24/7 365. Always a pleasure to work together when we’re in 🏥. In A&E they often experience as much abuse as we do. Incomprehensible, but true. Thank you! 💙 #nurses #NursesDay 🚨

Oh and to those that do constantly criticise us, having never been in any situation a Police Officer has been in, we’re recruiting Regular and Special Constables constantly. Come tell me how you get an adult holding a knife to a child’s neck because they’ve had an argument with their partner and think they’re going to lose their child, to put that knife down? It much like how I don’t go into a financial forecasting meeting and shout “YOU’VE PREDICTED MARCH ALL WRONG!” Just because I prefer April to March as a time of year and have literally no financial training or expertise whatsoever, just an opinion, that has no relevance to how procedurally that meeting and judgement will be made. We constantly have to make impossible decisions based on a legal frame work that we didn’t decide and those decisions are interpreted by magistrates and judges, who again have never been in these situations themselves. We live in a perpetual Catch 22. If you think you know better, come on down we have free tickets to the greatest show on Earth, just make sure you’re ready, it’s no ordinary ride. 🤷🏼‍♂️🙄💯🚨 #ThinBlueLine #Policing 🚨

Good of ‘Vlad the Invader’ to realise the similarities with fighting the Nazis during WW2 - he is very similar to Hitler and it’s exactly the same for the Ukrainians as a result #putin #warinukraine

Glad to see that one of our esteemed MPs hasn’t stereotyped or prejudged the case. Good to know

Only 260 areas in U.K. left with adder population. We could lose the species in 15 years. Pheasants a huge culprit in their decline. Saddening interview on @BBCr4today - such a huge part of our cultural heritage. A first adder nature reserve called for. Shooting needs regulating

This is the injury sustained by one of our officers this year. Assaults on officers have reached a five-year high. This is unacceptable. Read more here: crowd.in/h4cvXj  @NIPolicingBoard @PoliceFedforNI

Bullshire Police will only accept Police Dogs who have degrees. i.e. Posh ones who can afford to study for a degree.

Unfortunately missing meals at work due to the volume of incoming jobs seems normal now. I'm sure it's not healthy.

they missed out the river Duddon, which is good as I don't want to have to queue when there!
love that place, have wild swum there with Ben and my kids call it Shrek valley, more appropriate in Summer, admittedly!
Mike Parry must have won Gold at being a complete tosser, giving him the right to slate Olympians who don't in their sport? @theJeremyVine
