Our previous investigation established beyond doubt that the chanceries of Europe documented the 1707 annexation of Scotland not as an equal, voluntary union, but as a coerced statutory annexation executed under siege, military threat followed by invasion and occupation, and bribery. Today, we plunge straight into the sovereign diplomatic vaults of Europe’s premier continental power to deliver the ultimate evidentiary hammer blow. In France Holds the File, we demonstrate that the French state tracked, rejected, and recorded Scotland’s illegal annexation at the absolute summit of its executive apparatus; personally inscribed by King Louis XIV, debated in the inner sanctum of the Council of State at Marly, and systematically preserved across an unbroken diplomatic series until today. This is neither speculative folklore nor a buried secret. The modern French Republic verified, printed, and published this exact file to the world under General de Gaulle in 1965 through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the CNRS. Because France; a permanent, veto-wielding member of the United Nations Security Council; held and holds contemporary sovereign knowledge of this coercive annexation, it cannot plead the standard imperial defence of ignorance. Under peremptory norms of general international law (jus cogens), the inescapable duty of non-recognition and the strict obligation to withhold aid or assistance from an unlawful territorial occupation attach directly to the French Republic today as an erga omnes duty owed to the international community. The cover story of 1707 is obliterated. France holds the receipts and published the proof. The international law of decolonisation and state resumption has arrived at Westminster's door.
France Holds the File: A Permanent Member of the UN Security Council Documented Scotland's Annexation in Its Own State Archive & Proved There Was No Voluntary Union. France Published the Proof Itself Under De Gaulle. Its Erga Omnes Obligations Apply. decolonise.scot/france-holds…

Does Scotland have enough windfarms? We are already a net exporter, but still Scots pay the most expensive energy costs in the UK. Now a Spanish firm are threatening to erect 144 wind turbines, each over 1115 feet high (taller than the Eiffel Tower), off the coast of Iona, one of Scotland's most important cultural, historical and religious sites. This short film explains why we need to say No to the Machair Windfarm. youtu.be/hXGpsffa3Zk?is=ZIQI…

Douglas Alexander has never allowed people to question his posts. There's a reason for that.
Here in East Lothian, Torness shows nuclear can bring Scotland reliable power & skilled jobs. The UK Labour Govt is backing a new age of nuclear and thousands of jobs in England. It's time for the SNP Scottish Govt to reconsider its position so that Scotland doesn’t miss out.

You scratch your head. A dozen years on from the currency farrago of 2014, an exposing gaffe for which YES took a severe Britstate beating, and flying squarely in the face of all expert advice on the indispensability of a central bank issuing its own currency, John Swinney arrives at this. You might weep for the timidity of it: “And always keep a-hold of Nurse For fear of finding something worse.” – Hilaire Belloc’s cautionary tale: “Jim, Who ran away from his Nurse, and was eaten by a Lion”. Even when there IS nothing worse. Or more foolish. Or more referendum-sabotaging. Although, of course, you might ask 'what referendum?' It's belt and braces scuppering of the scuppered.
Many are wondering if John Swinney is deliberately trying to scupper Scotland’s chances of becoming independent after insisting Scotland will continue to use the English pound, widely seen as the main reason Scotland lost the last referendum. #ScottishCurrency #JohnSwinney #SNP

Labour's House Jock MPs are pushing the 'Scotland needs nuclear reactors' message relentlessly. BBC Scotland is slowly coming on board. What neither will admit is that new nuclear reactors will push energy bills higher. Scotland of course doesn't need new nuclear plants.

This account is still propagating myth, misinformation, and down-right lies - then whining when inevitably blocked for its behaviour. As ever it conflates two entirely different questions: participation of individuals in an empire and constitutional subordination to it. Ireland also supplied imperial soldiers, administrators, politicians and beneficiaries. That didn't make Ireland any less subject to colonial rule. Indeed, the Irish Parliament itself voted for incorporating Union in 1800. Does that make Ireland's incorporation voluntary too? The participation of Scots in Anglo-British imperialism, however extensive, clearly doesn't establish the legitimacy of Scotland's 1707 annexation. Scotland didn't "willingly vote" for 'Union'. The sovereign Community of the Realm was never consulted. A delegated Parliament voted under the pressure of England's Alien Act, economic coercion, military threat and political patronage, against widespread popular opposition. As for the Darien bailout myth, it plays the usual trick of confusing the financial losses of private investors with the bankruptcy of a sovereign state. Scotland had no comparable funded national debt to England's, although it had public liabilities. Article XV of the Treaty expressly established the £398,085 10s Equivalent because Scotland was being made liable, through taxation, to contribute towards England's pre-existing national debt. Much of the money that was paid in specie - most of it wasn't, and what was was borrowed, adding to Scotland's post-1707 liabilities - was then allocated to compensating shareholders in the Company of Scotland. That's a financial settlement benefiting investors, not evidence that Scotland was bankrupt or that England had rescued it from insolvency. Most importantly, it entirely bypasses the constitutional question: what authority did the Scottish Parliament possess to alienate sovereignty vested in the Community of the Realm? The participation of sections of Scotland's elite in British imperialism doesn't answer that question, and doesn't retrospectively legitimise 1707. Certainly every Non-Self-Governing territory has its collaberators, as ably attested here - unless the account is propagating half-baked colonial myth and misinformation from the colonial metropole itself?
Equating Scotland to Ireland to explain “how empires and colonialism works” is a spectacular display of being thick as mince. Ireland was militarily conquered and subjugated. Scotland was an independent nation that willingly voted for the 1707 Union to bail out its own failed colonial ambitions at Darien. Scots were not just imperial foot soldiers; they were the architects, politicians, and willing co-founders of the British Empire.

Absolutely fascinating. Colonialists buried the history of every civilisation they invaded, plundered and occupied. Not one of us was allowed to learn real Scottish history. Ancient records sent to American universities (according to my tutors at the School of Scottish Studies.) Welsh? Irish? The nations of N. America became ‘tribes’, their cities bulldozed, records destroyed. The Africans from whom Western ‘civilisation’ developed had ‘no history’ and the Egyptian civilisation was turned into a kind of hybrid European creation based on the installed regime of the Ptolemaic dynasty. Always, always the coloniser rewrites their crime as the civilisation of a primitive people. Always.
The Nile is not a border. This is the simplest version of the argument and also the one that should require the least explanation. The Nile flows from the interior of Africa northward to the Mediterranean. The civilizations along its length were in constant contact, trading, fighting, exchanging people and ideas and religious concepts and agricultural techniques across what was not a separation but a connection. The civilization of ancient Egypt did not emerge in isolation. It emerged in relationship with the Nubian civilizations to its south, some of whose cultures predated the unification of Egypt, which contributed to and drew from Egyptian culture across millennia. The kings of Kush would eventually rule Egypt as its 25th Dynasty. And across the centuries that followed, Kushite civilization would leave behind something that still surprises people today. More pyramids. In what is now Sudan. Built by the civilization that the Western imagination has most completely erased. There are more ancient pyramids in Sudan than in Egypt. Most people reading that sentence right now are encountering it for the first time. That is not because the information is obscure. It is because the information does not fit a story that someone needed to be true. And the information that does not fit the story does not make it into the classroom.

For this one, my money is on power cuts really caused by inadequate planning by Westminster being blamed on Russia.
Can anyone else feel a false flag event orchestrated by the establishment incoming? They are merely sowing the seed. Anyone who still thinks Russia is the enemy is utterly deluded.

I've got a great idea for a new game show! We make half a group of celebrities wear green underpants and the rest have to guess who they are. For reasons which will always be unclear, the celebs will turn into a group of tearful and indignant Miss Marples. It'll be riveting!
