I think the biggest mistake ex-liberals make is thinking that the escape route from the irrationality, immorality and cultism of the left is to flee straight into the right, where they inevitably fall into the same trap. The route is to flee from irrationality and cultism itself.
The majority of the right is as retarded as the left, holding the same fanaticism, fantastical and wishful thinking, same escalation of commitment, as illogical etc. The drives are the same, just expressed over different topics and ethics. If you don't see it, then you are it.
