An interesting LoTR analysis I heard today was that Denethor, who was an intelligent and capable figure (in the books), got too blackpilled by the time he spent gazing into the Palantir. Sauron showed him Mordor's armies, the Black Fleet sailing up the Anduin, and collapse at every front, all of which was true but still carefully chosen, and this caused him such despair that it led to his mental collapse at a pivotal moment, almost dragging his kingdom down with him. On the opposite end, you had Samwise Gamgee who remained the ever hope-pilled hero, despite trekking into literal hell. After facing many ordeals, with worse still ahead, he never lost hope in a return journey, even rationing food for it. His stubborn refusal to abandon Frodo helped them to overcome the darkest of odds and save the world. It may be fiction, but I think there's actually a good lesson for the right in there.

Ameritards are acting smug, as if the whole world didn't see multiple American cities go up in flames, under the Trump presidency in 2020, because a black felon overdosed on fentanyl.

Wait, you're telling me the rioters are targeting pensioners now..?

Conspiratorial thinking is pure cope to avoid any accountability. If you genuinely believe Russia is behind everything, why hasn't anyone taken measures to more actively counter them? Russia is not preventing the state from unleashing the police or army to crack some skulls.
Who profits from riots and unrest in Europe? Who has a giant disinformation and propaganda network all over Europe to spread hatred about Europe? Who has a vast network of saboteurs in Europe? Who has a massive stake in getting the far right elected in Europe? Who?

It's so depressing. You see the rioting accross France and Europe, you see the streets burning, yet nothing will be done. Our politicians will go on as if nothing happend and it will all be mostly be forgotten in a few weeks. I don't want to be the kind of person that buries his head in the sand, but at this point it feels like you might as well just ignore it all and scroll past. No amount of online outrage seems to matter. It basically just becomes soul-sucking noise.

Musk is the master at jangling keys in front of retards. He could showcase a turd spray painted chromium and "people" on here would hype it up as the next step in technological innovation. It was so much better when his fanbase was mostly confined to Reddit.
Turns out the future does have flying cars

The reasons we don't have flying cars in the real world aren't solely due technological limitations. Even though they aren't car-shaped, we've had more effective personal flying vehicles for a while now.

I have absolutely no advice for young guys wondering what profession to pursue, aside from this: if you're seeing a huge push to get you into a certain field, talk of labor shortages and good money and stable incomes and steady work, run, do not walk but run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. It's a psyop. It's always a psyop. The labor shortage might be real when you start your training. It probably isn't - it's probably just spreadsheet-brains with MBAs annoyed that they have to pay a living wage to get a certain kind of work done. But maybe it's real. By the time you finish training, years after you start, that labor shortage will be a thing of the past. You'll be part of a flood of freshly minted professionals hitting the labor market, and the easy money and stable income will already be a thing of the past. Worse, there's a good chance that in the meantime the spreadsheet-brains will have successfully lobbied for the importation at scale of immigrant labor to address the supposed shortage, leaving you even worse off.
The entire "go do a career in the trades" push is just a psyop to prevent intelligent young White men from taking power in their country.

Le Pen is clearly trying to appeal to the French tradition of civic nationalism and secular republicanism, which is a cultural assimilationist stance; but the thing is, Islam would still be a barrier to integration even without the "political" aspects of Sharia. I don't want to get into the whole integration (and ethnicity) debate, but regardless of one's stance, I'd like to point out that it is often completely overlooked in these discussions, that religion is basically a subset of culture. While they're not the exact same thing, religion and culture are extremely intertwined and do influence one another. A "Muslim Frenchman" can de facto never be the same thing as a (culturally-)Catholic Frenchman, regardless of ethnicity. Secularists can't just handwave away the issue of religion as if it's a separate thing. If you actually believe in forced integration, you also HAVE to believe in forced religious conversions.
Les Français de confession musulmane qui envisagent de partir si je suis élue ont tort : c'est leur pays, ils sont Français. Nous, nous ne sommes pas comme LFI : nous sommes respectueux de tous les Français.

On the U-bahn there's an old woman (definitely a pensioner) with a Greenpeace t-shirt, carrying a giant Greens tote bag, and wearing one of those big insufferable "Atomkraft? Nein danke" pins. To top it all off, her phone's ringtone was also Andean pan flutes. Couldn't design a more stereotypical hippy-boomer even if you tried.
All our problems are downstream of the boomer question. Had to listen with a straight face today as one was going on about how third-worlders (esp. jeets) are the best workers, since they're more "driven" and "motivated" (i.e. will take tonnes of shit while being paid peanuts)...
