Today I was very excited to present my work done at @WeTheBarEvenLab and @LabNikel in @DTUBiosustain in front of #microbiology enthusiasts among several @DTU departments. Thanks to the organizers of the DTU #Microbe #Initiative for such great event!

Finally out. Our study on the amination network is published. In this work, we investigate and engineer the E. coli amine metabolism by employing growth coupled selection in a glutamate auxotroph strain.
Thanks to @SteffenNLindner and all contributors!

Replying to @vitosemeraro7 @Cenorava
Never stop the work!
Finally out! We #evolved a new fructose utilization mode for increasing the oxPPP flux in C. glutamicum. As proof-of-principle, we exploited the extra NADPH generated to increase L-lysine biosynthesis. Great example of ALE for #biotechnology!

Also my surname that should "fit" the standards create a lot of confusion. The "De" should be with capital and it's part of surname. I saw citation like "Maria, de A." which in Italian wouldn't make any sense and risk to alter my h-index.
It's shocking to think how much we lost in the last year. I've never had the pleasure to work with Dan but we spoke after Arren's demise. In that moment of shared grievance I met a wise and gentle man. You will be missed.
Dear Dan, it’s been an honor to meet you and work with you in the @FutureAgric project. Our ❤️ is with your family & friends @WeTheBarEvenLab @outinsight @ArminKubis @INsrl_eu
