We talk a lot about integration and transdisciplinarity in #MentalHealth research, but (surprisingly) often we don't know what it means, why we're doing it, or how it's done. If you're doing this kind of work (or confused by it), check out our new review🚨

Very happy to have contributed to this effort with a great team discussing the usually-avoided topics on inclusion... also first time to have @ArabsInNeuro as an affiliation on a paper 😎
We are proud to announce our paper, ✨Ten simple rules for pushing boundaries of inclusion at academic events✨has been published in @PLOSCompBiol!
This community-based collaboration is a call to action for all to evaluate current norms for inclusion

A #teamscience win to help support biomarker research in the Toronto Adolescent and Youth (TAY) CAMH Cohort Study. Congratulations to all of the funded projects!
We are proud to announce the @CIHR_IRSC Project Grant Fall 2023 funding recipients at CAMH!
Congratulations to our eight grant recipients, who received a total of $5,451,176 in funding!
You may not work in neuroimaging, but this touches all fields. Inflated APCs are unjustifiable in modern publishing. It should infuriate the public that we spend tax payer dollars on exploitative brand names with little intrinsic value and that academia incentivizes this.
Scientists like Shella Keiholz are beginning to rebel against the unjustifiable waste of resources by traditional scientific research journals. trib.al/tF7LCvS

I am excited to see our paper @AJHGNews. We developed a polygenic score training approach that allows direct inclusion of admixed individuals without the need for local ancestry inference and showed ancestry-diverse training improves prediction for all population groups. 🧵
Looking forward to our session at #ASHG23 tomorrow morning - come by and say hi if you're in #WashingtonDC! @CAMH_KCNI @CAMHnews 🧬🧠
I am very happy to co-moderate with Dr. @DanielFelsky Session 016 tomorrow (Nov 2, 10:45AM-12:15PM, Room 207A level 2) at #ASHG23: "Advancing understanding of mechanisms in Alzheimer's disease."
