Pretty much anything the government touches becomes less efficient and more expensive over time. Americans who vote for more government involvement in our lives will unfortunately get what they deserve, not what they want. Socialism "is a disease that claims to be a cure." - @DavidSacks

Bitcoin up almost 30% in 4 days. This is why we preach hodling. Most gains come on just 10 days of the year. If you miss the 10 best days bitcoin’s return has been negative 10 of the last 15 years. And the best days often show up right next to the worst days. You don’t get to pick and choose. So we hodl.

Yes, the gold is there all (approximately) 147 million ounces. It is impressive, but the real point is what it still teaches in 2026. In 1971 we severed the dollar from gold. Since then the currency has lost roughly 85% of its value. Prices are higher because the money itself is weaker. A family making $50,000 with two kids that has not received a 25% raise in the last five years is falling behind. This is now often called “affordability,” but the the accurate word is inflation. We run annual deficits of two trillion dollars. The Federal Reserve buys about a third of that debt by creating new money. Every new dollar dilutes the value of the dollars already in people’s pockets. Gold does not expand when Congress spends. Paper does. That is the difference.

BREAKING: Tether purchased +14 tonnes of gold in Q2 2026, bringing total holdings to a record 146 tonnes, now worth ~$18.8 billion. This follows gold purchases of +53 tonnes between Q3 2025 and Q1 2026. Tether’s gold holdings have more than doubled since Q1 2025, while their value has nearly tripled over the same period. This makes the company the largest known private holder of gold outside of central banks and governments. In the first half of 2026, only 4 central banks bought more gold than Tether: Poland, Uzbekistan, China, and Kazakhstan. Tether is now competing with central banks for gold after the correction.

Normies can't help but to focus on money's role as a medium of exchange. We live in a Consumption-based society after all. But what most fail to grok (or acknowledge) is that the core feature of Money--and all of Finance, really--actually revolves around Purchasing Power. IMPORTANT: The Creation and Control of money are the proverbial Keys to the Kingdom. Whoever Creates and Controls money also has the ultimate say regarding the Purchasing Power of its Users (or Participants). When the State Creates and Controls your money, they get to decide how much--if any--of your Purchasing Power they will confiscate over time. And... Since the ability to confiscate (aka, "steal") our Purchasing Power via the Creation and Control of money is nearly irresistible, the State chooses this option... every time. Always. Without fail. Until the State grows so large relative to its underlying People's waning Purchasing Power, that the State fails. This has happened time and again throughout recorded history. And it's happening again. Right now. Across the Modern World. But especially in Europe, the United States, and Japan. These countries have accumulated so much debt--that is, they have borrowed, taxed, inflated, stolen, and spent their countrymen's Purchasing Power--and have grown so large, that their citizens' Purchasing Power is no longer able to sustain their grotesque girth. Bitcoin--for the first time in recorded history--changes this dynamic. It puts the Creation and Control of money directly and irrevocably into the hands of the People. This means that the People get to remain in charge of their Purchasing Power--not the Aristocrats--for the first time in recorded history. This is why it is Critical to keep the Bitcoin Network Decentralized and Secure... well away from those who would like to manipulate it to regain and restore the Creation and Control of your Purchasing Power. Bitcoin is truly Better Money for a Better World, because it is Of the People, By the People, For the People. This is a Once in a Species opportunity for lowly, hard-working, honest, regular people... so let's not blow it. That is all. Cheers.

And ppl think STRC is a ponzi 😂
"so you staked your ETH on the Ethereum blockchain to earn yield?" "yes, Dave" "except you didn't want your capital to be locked up so you actually staked it with a liquid staking protocol called Lido?" "that's correct, Dave" "and Lido gave you a liquid staking receipt token called stETH in return?" "yes, Dave" "and then you didn't think that was enough, so you juiced the yield even further by depositing your stETH receipt tokens into a restaking protocol called Eigenlayer?" "you are correct, Dave" "and now you didn't want to lock up your capital, so you actually restaked with a liquid restaking protocol called KelpDAO who provided you with a liquid restaking receipt token called rsETH?" "you got it, Dave" "and then that was surely not enough juice, so you then deposited your rsETH tokens into a lending protocol called AAVE so that you could open a leveraged looping position that borrows ETH against the rsETH collateral and restakes the ETH into rsETH which is then deposited as collateral, except it turns out rsETH used a cross-chain bridge called LayerZero whose security is held together by a 1/1 toothpick, which was obviously hacked by north koreans causing rsETH to become undercollateralized and now these looping positions are stuck and unprofitable, and everyone is pointing fingers at each other, and also DeFi is a very serious industry" "you are 100% correct, dave" jfc.

No one is proud of their first opinion of Bitcoin. When I first heard of it, I called it "Minecraft money" or imaginary money. @MattGolliher, a college of mine and Co-Founder of OHW, called it "digital beanie babies." What was your first opinion? Please Read and Share!

Jane Street didn't suppress the Bitcoin price folks. HODLers all did. It's just not that hard, stop summoning your inner salty goldbug but blaming manipulators. People. Sold. A. Fucktonne. Of. Spot. Bitcoin.
Everyone is asking: "Is Jane Street why Bitcoin isn't at $150k?" As expected, the answer is trickier than the question. But it's also more structurally unsettling than the conspiracy theory itself—and once you understand the actual mechanics, you won't be able to unsee them👇

Normie Logic: Bitcoin is an abstraction but my bank balance is a representation of the amount of dollars I have to spend. Reality: You don't "have" dollars. You have permission to access a digital ledger entry. Permission that requires the bank to stay solvent, the government to not freeze your account, the FDIC to honor its backstop, and the Fed to not print your purchasing power into dust. That's not "having money." That's renting access to a database controlled by people who can change the rules mid-game. Bitcoin? You hold cryptographic proof of ownership enforced by thermodynamic security. No "business hours." No freeze button. No middleman. No permission. Your bank balance is a harder abstraction to defend than Bitcoin because it relies on institutions staying honest. Bitcoin just works.

One of the reasons I love Saylor so much is that he exhibits daily the equanimity, long-term thinking, and conviction necessary for long term wealth creation in markets. Contrast this with the chart traders, crypto degens, and panicans on this app. He’s showing you how to regulate your emotions and manage volatility. Like I’m sorry, are you surprised $MSTR is volatile? He’s literally told you that his business model is stripping the vol from $BTC and letting it accrue to the common stock while delivering low volatility consistent returns to the prefs. His equities are doing EXACTLY what he has told you they are designed to do. The cost of massive upside is massive downside. If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
