The passing of Christopher Hood is very sad and a great loss for the field of public administration. I can't think of a scholar who has been a bigger inspiration for my own work. – at Brisbane, Queensland

Remember, we spend more on superannuation fees than electricity.
Much talk about energy prices, generation and the cost of living. Worth remembering our electricity budget share is 2.36% (ABS CPI) which is similar to beer but less than takeaway meals or restaurants or superannuation fees.

With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived.
