🛰️ Planet just launched Pelican-12 on SpaceX's Bandwagon-5 from Cape Canaveral!
Gen 2 high-res imaging (30 cm-class), onboard AI with NVIDIA Jetson, and a data relay test via SES O3b mPOWER. 5th Pelican of 2026, 25th Planet satellite this year. 🚀 $PL

Today we shared an update on Neutron's development, including adjusting the schedule for flight one to 2027.
Full details: investors.rocketlabcorp.com/…
$RKLB
Neutron's first launch moves to 2027. Disappointing but not surprising, I went through Beck's update video and the context matters.
What happened: during curing, voids (tiny air pockets) formed in the thicker carbon sections of a new stage 1 propellant dome. That doesn't mean it would have failed in flight, but Rocket Lab only flies with proper margins. As Beck put it: "Possible success isn't our standard."
The fix is already validated: the aft dome built with the updated process is their highest-quality composite dome to date.
What comes next:
1. Build the new forward dome on the AFP machine (already underway)
2. Cure it and inspect it with ultrasonic testing
3. Assemble the full first stage, then run the hydrostatic and cryo test campaigns
Steps 1 and 2 should be done before Q1, step 3 within Q1. Only then will they share a new launch date, with regular progress updates on their website and socials until then. Beck: "I'd rather show you real-time progress than give you a date that I might have to walk back."
Keep in mind:
- Delays are the norm for new rockets. Falcon 9, New Glenn, Vulcan and Ariane 6 all flew well after their original targets.
- Neutron is the largest carbon composite rocket ever built. Inventing new manufacturing processes takes time now but pays off at scale.
- Rockets #2 and #3 are already in production before flight 1.
And Rocket Lab is not only Neutron. Electron is nearing its 100th launch, just signed its largest commercial deal ever (20 launches for Synspective), and backlog stood at $2.36B last quarter. Beck also says new Neutron contracts will be announced soon.
A reliable rocket beats an early one. Judge Neutron by flight 10, not flight 1.
$PL : I added some shares today at $14.88, increasing my position by 40%. My average price is now $18.90.
Every company goes through investor sentiment resets on its way up. It's inevitable, and you have to go through it to get exceptional returns. That's what we're living through with $ASTS right now: fear of fierce competition from $SPCX , plus execution and communication issues from management.
But if your conviction still holds, retail investors have one real edge in the market: we can hold for as long as it takes.
There's no 100-bagger that didn't drop 80% along the way.

Mission success! All 20 payloads were successfully launched.
We’ve already made contact with @Google’s Project Suncatcher, Tanager-2 & two SuperDoves – and all are healthy! The remaining SuperDoves await deployment thru D-Orbit (as expected)! 🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️
Thanks to @Google and @carbonmapper for teaming together, and to @SpaceX for the ride up!
With this mission, we’ve now launched 718 satellites on 43 rockets. This was the first time we’ve had three different satellite types flying together! + we have another launch in a few weeks from Cape Canaveral. 🚀 investors.planet.com/news/ne…

If you want details about $NBIS acquisition of inferize read this !
today we announced the acquisition of Inferize.
i guess headline is the obvious part. Behind it is a bigger bet on what @nebiustf becomes as a production inference platform.
here's the problem Inferize was built for.
-> When you launch a model, spin up for a demand spike, or reload weights mid run (think reinforcement learning), the GPUs are assigned but not yet useful. That warmup window is an idle tax. Platforms hold spare capacity just to stay ready for the slo. You pay for metal that isn't shipping tokens yet.
@InferizeAI's technology cuts that tax. Faster time from "we need more capacity" to "it's actually serving." utilization tracks real demand tighter. Token economics get better because more of the rack does useful work.
The team joins Token Factory with deep gpu systems chops. Running inference well is the whole system responding when demand changes, not just fast GPUs and a tuned model.
this also fits the stack we've been assembling on purpose.
1. Eigen brought optimization at the model, kernel, and system layers
2. Clarifai's core team and licensed tech added system-level inference and compute orchestration
3. Inferize is the layer that attacks readiness and elasticity.
3 moves, one job: serve more customer demand from every GPU, and make TF the place open-weight / production inference scales without burning money on idle readiness.
that's the potential i'm excited about (not a logo on a press release). A Token Factory that gets more elastic, more utilizable, and harder to outrun on the economics of being ready.

We've just signed Electron's largest commercial launch contract ever: 20x new launches with Earth-observation constellation operator @synspective 🚀🦉
That brings the total number of Synspective launches on Electron to 47 - the most of any Rocket Lab launch customer. We're proud to continue building out their low Earth orbit constellation through to 2031.

5th Pelican of the year!
Pelican-12 has arrived in Cape Canaveral and will be onboard the @SpaceX Bandwagon-5 mission in a few weeks. Less than 3 months after Pelican-11 flew in July, it’s equipped with @nvidia's Jetson AI platform for on-orbit edge compute is designed to enable sat-to-sat comms. 🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️
This is the first time we’ve had satellites ready to launch on both coasts at the same time – with Tanager-2, @Google's Suncatcher mission, & 18 SuperDoves are all scheduled to launch from California on Oct 1st! investors.planet.com/news/ne…
