Ukraine did this after Cuba spent hundreds of millions of dollars treating thousands of sick Ukrainian children from Chernobyl. Cuba spent 20 years providing specialised care they couldn't afford in Ukraine. Ukraine paid nothing, voting to starve Cuba was their payment I guess.

I see a man that picked up a weapon to defend his homeland after international law failed to. If he were Ukrainian, he'd be called a hero!

Well, he did invite us to go back over his record

Never forget. Not one Irish far right "patriot" showed up and supported the residents of Garvaghy Road against loyalist intimidation.
They travelled to Belfast and supported and marched alongside loyalists. Then after the march they went and drank with loyalists in a UDA pub. The UDA murdered over 200 innocent Catholics.

We have just received confirmation that there will be no unwanted Orange march down the Garvaghy Road.

Partition breeds a sectarian crisis. Your answer? Keep partition. Brilliant. Many northern Protestants stand with Garvaghy Road residents. They grasp what you miss - equality defeats Orange supremacy. That’s the promise of a united Ireland. Your tired fatalism is no match for it.
The south sees Drumcree and thinks: we don’t want that sectarian mindset down here

These guys are shameless. Trying to cash in on what’s happening on the Garvaghy Road.

Garvaghy Road is one of the very, very few places where loyalists are asked to show just an ounce of respect.
And where are the DUP trying to ram an Orange Order parade?
Don’t talk about a shared society when you can’t respect the wishes of a small, peaceful community.
This is what Loyalists called Robert Hamill (a Catholic) as they beat him to death in front of the RUC on the streets of Portadown during the height of the Drumcree parade stand off in 1997.

The one time I was asked to comment on this in Irish media — on RTÉ Radio — I said there was too much scare-mongering going on.
It was an obvious attempt to intimidate yet some commentators in Ireland abetted it.
