i just recently did an online workshop about this at @CodeOrangeDevs. its a good setup for people to be aware of. multi-vendor multi-sig for the win! 🔥
Can you sleep well at night with your singlesig?
In today's Self-Custody Workshop, @andywong311 built a 2-of-3 multisig live with three different vendors. We used Sparrow to setup and @nunchuk_io to recover the wallet.
If you are new to self-custody, don't start with multisig.
Mobile wallet first, then one hardware wallet. After that a passphrase and then multisig

Multivendor multisig with @SparrowWallet and @nunchuk_io
This seems to be the way after recent incidents. Self-custody workshop will cover:
- how to setup airgapped wallet
- how to setup multivendor multisig wallet

Would you want everyone you pay to know how much bitcoin you own?
This was one of the questions we discussed in our latest privacy workshop - alongside a live Lightning payment, plenty of good questions, and a few rabbit holes.
Questions every bitcoiner should ask:
What am I protecting?
From whom?
What could go wrong?
How much effort am I willing to spend?
Our next call is tomorrow. See you there: discord.gg/WycFTWcMT?event=1…

How do you self-custody bitcoin without anyone knowing you have it?
Let’s build your threat model, set up a cold wallet, and cover coinjoin + buying BTC privately at tomorrow’s workshop.

At @tabconf, @kelvinator05 just took the stage to talk about the growing role of the Global Majority in Bitcoin open-source development.
He highlighted how the ecosystem is growing beyond contributions to existing projects, with communities, conferences, and companies emerging across the Global Majority.
He also shared some of the impact and products coming out of the ecosystem, and how local developers are stepping up as contributors and maintainers.
This is at the heart of what we do at Btrust: supporting developers in the Global Majority and creating opportunities for them to contribute to Bitcoin open source and help shape its future. – at Atlanta, GA

🏆 BOSS Battle 2026: And the winners are...
Before we announce the winners, there’s something we want to say.
Over the last four weeks, we watched people show up, wrestle with problems, push through challenges, and turn ideas into working code.
Thank you. This is exactly what we envisioned BOSS Battle to be about, and you’re the ones who made it happen. 🧡
And today, we get to celebrate some of that work. 🧵

Omandroid: work-in-progress update 🧪📱
Native Omarchy running on a Pixel 7 Pro: Arch Linux ARM, Hyprland and Omarchy's own packages, on a mainline Linux kernel. No Android underneath.
Hardware working
- Boots our own mainline kernel (7.3-rc) from the second boot slot, with stock Android kept on the other slot
- Display (1440×3120 OLED)
- GPU: Mali-G710 with OpenGL ES 3.1 and Vulkan 1.4 through Mesa (we added the G710 to Mesa's Panfrost driver), and Hyprland renders on it
- Touchscreen with multi-touch
- Power and volume buttons
- Battery level in the status bar
- Internal storage, with the system partitions locked read-only
- USB networking and SSH
Software working
- Omarchy themes, the menu, the notification shade and the Omarchy boot animation
- A phone-style home screen and launcher with app search and "ask your agent"
- On-screen keyboard
- App switcher: swipe up, tap to switch, flick to close
- Lock screen with a PIN pad: locks after boot and after the screensaver
- Power + volume down takes a screenshot
- Apps open full screen, like on Android
- Kernel updates installed from inside Linux
Next up: Wi-Fi (driver in progress), Bluetooth, charging, audio, then camera, cellular and Android apps through Waydroid.

Multi-vendor multisig is the way.
Multi-vendor multisig demo👇
One multisig, five different hardware vendors, connected five different ways all on mobile:
✅ @Ledger (Bluetooth)
✅ @Trezor (Bluetooth)
✅ @BlockstreamJade (QR)
✅ @FoundationHQ Passport (QR)
✅ @TwentyTwoHW Portal (NFC)
No single point of failure. Built on open standards. Everything stays end-to-end encrypted through the whole setup, and there’s a built-in E2EE chat for coordinating group setups.
Works whether you’re setting it up for yourself or splitting keys across a few people. All keys can be geographically distributed.
@KeystoneWallet, @SeedSigner, @selfcustodykrux, @TAPSIGNER also work.
@BitBoxSwiss and @satochip on mobile coming soon.
(Devices shown are for demo purposes, not a ranking or endorsement.)
See you at the Bitcoin Learning Centre! 🙌
The @CodeOrangeDevs and @keypleb are coming back to Chiang Mai this November. 🧡
