You might as well call it a 6 year old console at this point.

Everything feeling new. I can’t think of any games that have done something genuinely new and exciting the last 5-10 years.

I bought a 21” touchscreen monitor and had an unused raspberry pi and I’ve been working on my own digital calendar/dashboard. I still have a ways to go feature-wise but it’s a good project to work on. Keeps me off the streets.

Maintaining internal software with modern AI is nothing like maintaining internal software pre-AI.

It feels like models are improving too quickly to warrant spending many thousands to set up a home lab. Once the world has gotten used to the concept and hardware prices stabilize, then it could be worth it. Unless you need maximum privacy, in which case spend away.

It depends on the purpose of what you're doing. If it's personal art that you're creating to express yourself, then yeah, I don't know why you'd use AI. If it's for employment reasons, then I don't know why you *wouldn't* use it. Employers don't care, they want faster output.
