G20 SUMMIT DAY 2: CRITICAL ROAD CLOSURES
Today is the final day of the summit, meaning high-volume VIP movements are expected as delegates depart.
The rolling closures are active, and motorists are advised that highways and main arterials will be completely closed intermittently to allow convoys to pass. This causes sudden, standstill traffic for 30–60 minutes at a time.
The most critical times for these closures today are:
* Morning: 07:00 – 10:00
* Evening: 15:00 – 20:00
We can confirm that specific closures will be in effect for today, Sunday:
* Nasrec Precinct (Summit Venue):
* Nasrec Road: Closed between Rand Show Road and Shaft 17 Road.
* Rand Show Road: Northern portion closed between the N1 and Nasrec Road.
* Golden Highway: Closed between Rand Show Road and Soweto Highway.
* Booysens Reserve Road: Closed near Crownwood Road.
Sandton and Rosebank:
Expect disruptions on Grayston Drive, Rivonia Road, Maude Street, Oxford Road, and Jan Smuts Avenue as dignitaries move between their accommodations.
Weather services have issued warnings for severe thunderstorms in the Gauteng region today.
The combination of slippery roads, poor visibility, and heavy G20 congestion significantly increases the risk of accidents. We urge drivers to maintain a safe following distance and keep their headlights on at all times.
As of this morning, no new massive highway blockages have been reported, but the network is extremely fragile. Any minor accident will cause gridlock due to the existing G20 pressure.
Motorists are advised to avoid the highways (N1, M1, N12, R21, R24) if possible, and they can use alternatives such as:
* Roodepoort: Use Beyers Naudé Drive, Christiaan De Wet, or Ontdekkers Roads.
* Sandton/North: Use smaller side streets parallel to Rivonia/Oxford (though these will still be busy).
* South: Use Chris Hani Road, Main Reef Road, or Soweto Highway, (where open) to bypass the Nasrec lockdown.

The chaos continues in Jacob Zuma party. Yesterday newly appointed MK Party KZN Convenor Willies Mchunu was in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s court to attend a criminal case against Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) ( all waste of time cases because they still think elections were rigged)
When Proceedings were done the convenor of MK Party KZN Willies Mchunu was suppose to address's the MK Party supporters.
When Mchunu tried to address the crowd, they blew whistles, sang loudly, and even used their hands in a show of defiance. Many were heard hauling insults at him.
He has just been appointed but the supporters have already turned in him. MK Party is absolutely chaotic. Now some senior leaders are calling for Mchunu to be replaced. TOTAL CHAOS AND CARNAGE IN THE PARTY AND NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK.
WILL MCHUNU ALSO BE FIRED SOON. IT WILL BE A MIRACLE IF THIS PARTY LAST ANOTHER YEAR. Anything Jacob Zuma touches turn to Shi*. He invented factionalism in the ANC.

Mk drama continues. Duduzane Zuma has a fully fledged office with staff in Umhlanga, separate from the official MK Party office. Floyd Shivambu is furious because he is SG of the party and Duduzane takes no instructions from him.Duduzane has his own MK programs. What Duduzane is doing is own programs apparently with the full blessing of Jacob Zuma.
MK Party now has two centres of power, both doing their own programs. It's absolute chaos in the party. Only one will win. I don't see Floyd Shivambu lasting very long in MK Party,which now has multiple factions in the party.

Lifeguards doing excellent work in Durban's beaches. They have saved thousands of lives and even give their lives to save others. An incident took place yesterday were 6 people tried to rob the lifeguards. All 6 of the criminals were foreign nationals, 4 illegally and the other two who are here legally are wanted for other crimes.
NOT EVEN LIFEGUARDS ARE SAFE FROM THESE ILLEGAL FOREIGNERS.
