@AmericanAir worst experience of my life. Family of 4 traveling to SD from DFW. Flight cancelled Mon at 11. Put on standby for 4 other flights with 70+ people as well. All flights delayed about 3 hrs. 12 hrs later finally get rebooked for 8:45- delayed till 11. Oh it gets worse..

@AmericanAir this is the customer service line at DFW on Monday night at 9:50 PM. Hundreds in line— most are trying to reschedule flights due to missed connections because of delays. Stop booking flights you can’t staff.

My 9:55 AM flight from LAS to SRQ was delayed 4 times. My connection was rescheduled to tomorrow. I was assured I’d have a hotel room and my luggage. Now I’m spending the night with no hotel at CLT and no luggage and no dinner. Thanks @AmericanAir #airlines #customerservice – at Charlotte, NC

So my high school age child is now trapped in Dallas due to cancelled DFW flights due to weather, and @AmericanAir is holding her luggage hostage for two days! This after delaying the flight for three hours and jerking everyone around. It was a long weekend.

@AmericanAir strikes again. Delayed and canceled. Looking for 7am flights out of DFW. This is embarrassing @AmericanAir. Comp out the flights, comp out the hotel costs, and give the kids and coaches food vouchers.

Update! After 5 hours - someone answered me & was able to half way help but had to transfer me to another department - that would only take “10-15 minutes” according to her.
I waited for 3 more hours before being disconnected. 😄

Ha! I had a flight from PBI to DFW-OKC cancelled on us this morning by AA. Weather cited. Flight was scheduled for 7:40am; cancelled at 3:40am. No other options today offered. So I paid Delta to get us home around midnight. Now holding for hours for refund/credit from AA. Awful

@AmericanAir We have been looking forward to our family vacation we’ve spent months planning and paid for numerous tickets in Orlando for you to cancel the flight 2 hours prior and not having anything available for 3 days later. What a shame, do better!

@AmericanAir my flight was delayed twice. I have to stay somewhere other than my home overnight. I get to the hotel I was supposed to be “put up” at..they tell me they haven’t even TALKED to American Airlines and they don’t take travel vouchers

Hey @AmericanAir so how do I get a live body..missed a flight due to working in a hospital, tried to reschedule - website said no, tried to call - did the automated callback - 7 hours later nothing...Now I am callling live and have been on hold for another 1.5 hours?
