In anycase I never really understood or appreciated how ancient alot of these movies are. Which is just evidence of how well made and timeless they are. I knew as a kid that they were old but I dont think I knew many of them were older than my parents!

That being said I realize the blue disney castle I'm so nostalgic for can't have been at the beginning of every Disney film originally. Indeed it seems to have been created in 85. So when kid me watched his VHS of 101 Dalmations, the calming blue castle was already revitionist3/3

Ive always hated updating the studio intros in front of movies. In my mind the one that was there when the film came out should be preserved on every home video copy, as its part of its historical context. Theres nothing more jarring than seeing CGI before a film from the 70s 2/3

Im watching alot of golden age disney movies for the first time as an adult and for the first time not on VHS. Whenever I get to one I liked as a kid Im inevitably disappointed they changed the Disney Pictures intro animation from the one Im used to to the new CGI one. 1/3

There’s much about this that’s false but on the issue of “terrorism” it’s worth highlighting again that in the past 30 years Israel had killed more American civilians than Hezbollah and Iran combined and it’s not particularly close.
To answer this directly, Israeli intelligence helps secure the world's oil supplies/transit, as well as providing needed surveillance regarding international terrorist groups who threaten Americans. There's a lot of wishful thinking that Israel doesn't help us much, but they do.

Gerda Wegeners so cool.. born 1885 and made lesbian erotica art inspired by her wife who came out as a trans woman ten years into their marriage and was one of the first one of the first to ever have sex reassignment surgery. The danish government annulled their marriage over it
