2026 is starting to look like 2008. Wall Street is buying insurance against an AI crash, and it's buying a lot of it. Most investors aren’t aware right now of what’s going on, but this matters for every tech and AI stock you own. The insurance is called a credit default swap. It pays out if a company can't pay its debts - the same contract that became famous in the 2008 financial crisis. In July, investors traded under $2B a week of this insurance on Oracle, Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, Alphabet, Broadcom and SpaceX. By September, it was over $9B a week. The reason is debt. AI companies have borrowed $466B so far this year to build out data centers (at this point last year, it was $101B). And the price of that protection is hitting records - insuring Meta's and Nvidia's debt has never cost more. For Oracle, the cost has more than doubled since January. CoreWeave is the extreme case. Insuring $10M of its debt costs $1.82M upfront, plus $125K every quarter. Some of its bonds already trade at distressed levels. The cracks are spreading. SoftBank fell 6% overnight as the cost of insuring its debt hit a 4-year high. In Korea, the biggest IPO on the tech exchange this year, a data center company, crashed 33% on its first day. Meanwhile, regular investors are doing the opposite. Nearly $10B poured into leveraged ETFs last week, the most on record, and $7B of it went into a fund that bets 3x on chip stocks. But I don't think this is a bubble. These AI companies are growing earnings 30% a year, and the market trades at 19 times earnings, nowhere near the 25 times we saw before the 2000 crash. But when the smart money starts paying up for protection, sentiment is without doubt shifting. Higher rates and higher energy prices make all that borrowing a lot more expensive. So keep cash on the sidelines. You're going to get to buy a lot of these AI stocks back 25-30% lower. Be patient, and you'll probably do very well over the next couple of years…

Any country in dark red is at severe risk of a sovereign debt collapse. Notice how civil unrest is spreading across Europe right now. Government expenditure as % of GDP: 🇫🇮 Finland - 57.5% 🇫🇷 France - 57.2% 🇦🇹 Austria - 55.2% 🇧🇪 Belgium - 54.2% 🇮🇹 Italy - 51.2% 🇫🇴 Faroe Islands - 51.1% 🇵🇱 Poland - 50.9% 🇩🇪 Germany - 50.5% 🇭🇷 Croatia - 50.1%
The Soviet Union collapsed at 50%...France is at 57% and striking for more, mindblowing

It's only a matter of time before the ruling class make their big move. Everything that's happened in the last six years has just been orchestrated chaos and psychological warfare to soften us up for whatever is coming. There are several scenarios at play.. which one.

Say NO to public / private partnerships that lead to privatization.
What most people already understand, even without the economic terminology, is that firms like BlackRock operate less like investors and more like modern feudal landlords. They buy essential infrastructure, water networks, ports, energy grids, data centres, and other public necessities, often using vast amounts of borrowed money and paying prices that ordinary market participants cannot match. Once the acquisition is complete, the debt is pushed onto the acquired company itself. The result is simple: the public pays. Consumers repay that debt through higher water bills, rising energy prices, increased fees, and declining service quality. The infrastructure becomes a cash-extraction machine. Profits flow upward to shareholders and executives, while the financial burden flows downward to ordinary households. When the model inevitably breaks down, the consequences are socialised. Communities are left with crumbling infrastructure, polluted rivers and failing services. Thames Water's £14 billion debt mountain and repeated sewage scandals are a stark example of what happens when financial engineering takes precedence over public stewardship. The executives who loaded the company with debt have already collected their bonuses. The investors have already taken their returns. And when the system finally reaches its breaking point, taxpayers are expected to pick up the bill. Privatise the gains. Socialise the losses. That is the business model......

Wondering if this #uranium pullback is driven by institutional selling? The answer is NO! As of this week: 📈 $UEC — Institutional ownership increased ➡️ $DNN & $UUUU — Institutional ownership unchanged All three remain at or near all-time highs in institutional ownership.

Ok so con man Carney just cancelled the contract with the Commissionaires who hire a lot of military beys to be security for federal buildings. Instead the new contract is going to an American security company affiliated with Trump and ICE in Pennsylvania. Well now it’s being revealed that of course Allied is connected to PSG who are a subsidiary of Brookfield. Absolutely everything con man Carney does involves Brookfield. @JohnBrassardCPC @JohnWilliamson_ @brianlilley @terrynewman @Super_Samario @SprintCarcast @MichelleLA1981 @Carolyn_Munro @mferreriptbokaw @PierrePoilievre @DonDavies @Martyupnorth @dsimieritsch @JasminLaine @Concern70732755 @DuffConacher @celliottability @fordnation @PremierScottMoe @MarcNixon24 @rich_toronto @vesperdigital @abc123jjj @junonewscom @honjamesmoore @kstokesvies @golfanatic2 @RealNonStick

Our own VP of Exploration refused to tell me our metallurgy results. I asked him what had come back. He said he could not tell me. I said what do you mean you cannot tell me. He said he needed confirmation first. He did not believe them. The numbers were far enough above what he expected that his instinct was not excitement, it was suspicion of his own data. So he sent the work back and had it run again. Three times in total. They held. SGS Canada reported recoveries of 98.9% copper, 96.8% platinum, 93.9% palladium, 88.9% silver and 85% gold. I have thought about that exchange a lot since. A geologist who will not repeat a good number until he has checked it three times is the most valuable person you can have on a project like this. Investors ask me why they should believe our grades. It is a fair question, and the honest answer is that you should not, not on my say so. Neither did we. That is the whole business in one story. You do not get to believe your own results. You test them until someone independent agrees, and then you publish what they found. $PNPN.V | $PNPNF | $IVV1

Could the U.S. actually sanction Canadian banks? Investigative journalist @scoopercooper warns that money laundering through Canada's financial system has become a serious international concern. The bigger question is why hasn't Canada done more to stop it? H/T @MarketManiaCa

No, Olivia. Brad Bradford is proposing a 25% cut on our water bills. Under your leadership, residential property tax increases have to over 20% and water rates rose again this year. You’re promising even more tax increases!! Torontonians deserve relief not more tax hikes

What corruption: #TorontoPolice officer Elias Mouawad received a conditional discharge for taking part in the Ryan Wedding Drug network, with the possibility that he can keep his job pending the decision of a police tribunal. A message needs to be sent through the courts that any police connections with organized crime won't be tolerated. This sentencing is so light that it will promote further recruitment into organized crime. If no one is being held accountable, we are giving the police free rein to continue their abuse of power and criminal misconduct towards us. toronto.citynews.ca/2026/10/…

This is a perfect use case for the notwithstanding clause. They BRUTALLY MURDERED Canadians. They deserve no parole. EVER. They should rot and die in a jail cell. This should be the accepted norm & not be controversial. Why are Canadians so kind to killers?
NEW: 3 men convicted of brutally killing an Abbotsford couple get a HUGE break from BC Supreme Court Justice Brenda Brown. To her, the Criminal Code prescribing 25 years of parole ineligibility infringes upon their Charter rights guaranteeing against cruel & unusual punishment.

In the last two months, Jack Lundin has purchased more than 330,000 shares of @TalonMetals on the open market. The average price of his purchases is roughly $8.75 per share on the TSX in Canada 🇨🇦 The total cost of @JackOALundin's open market purchases is approximately C$3 million (includes two purchases made for his wife's account). Lundin is a director of Talon Metals, and the company is expected to publish a Feasibility Study for its flagship Tamarack Nickel-Copper-PGEs Project in the next month. The timing of the purchases is notable, not only due to the imminent FS, but also the fact they began shortly after $TLO.TO reported a record 46.43-meter massive sulfide intercept in hole 562A at Tamarack's emerging Vault Zone. The hole 562A discovery resulted from targeting a borehole electromagnetic (“BHEM”) anomaly from hole 25TK0566A. Talon is currently following up investigating additional BHEM anomalies in proximity of the hole 562A massive sulfide mineralization. Drill Hole 25TK0562A delivered the highest grade intercept ever from Tamarack, 46.43 Meters Grading 13.37% Ni, 16.54% Cu, 0.10% Co, 7.85 g/t Pd, 14.49 g/t Pt, and 8.56 g/t Au (27.39% NiEq or 54.78% CuEq).

Why is it that these things always happen after a population is disarmed? This should make every Canadian realize why our current gun ban was put in place by those who intentionally brought in a similar crowd.
It is time for the good men of Europe to put down their tools, arm themselves with whatever they can find - and do what is necessary to defend their families. The French and UK governments long ago disarmed their citizens - then imported millions of single, military aged men from foreign violent cultures. In Canada and the USA, some cities are already lost to Western culture and values - and still our governments continue replacement mass immigration. Take a good look at France this week, because this is where we are heading in North America.

"After twice achieving triple-digit gains across all my uranium stock picks over the past decade, I believe prices have fallen enough to justify adding them to a diversified metals portfolio. The stocks, entry prices, and accumulation strategy—whether based on price, dollar amount, or time—are personal choices. Although these deeply oversold stocks may see a nice technical rebound, widespread losses make them likely tax-loss-sale candidates, and they could fall from here by double digits before year-end." Do you see a problem? In 2026, U.S. domestic production is expected to cover only about 10% of the country's uranium demand. ⚠️🇺🇸
