@PoliceNG_CRU officers attached to the Ladipo Police Station crossed a bolt driver AB 835 SC at 5:35 pm today and accused him of "insulting" them. They forcefully took his keys from him and asked him to pay ₦50,000 for insulting them.
He had to beg until they forced him to withdraw ₦15,000 which they collected from him.
He did nothing wrong and yet they extorted him.

Correct Application of the National Anthem
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) informs all members of the public to kindly take note of the correct protocol for the rendition and recitation of the National Anthem and Pledge as follows:
INSTRUCTIONS:
•Recite/Sing only the First Stanza of the National Anthem at all official events.
•The Third Stanza should be rendered as the National Prayer at the beginning of events.
•All Three Stanzas are to be sung or recited only on special national occasions such as:
•Independence Day
•Presidential Inauguration (Swearing-in)
•Armed Forces Remembrance Day
•Democracy (June 12) Day
•Inauguration of the National Assembly, etc.
•The National Pledge should be recited at the end of an event.
Let us uphold the dignity and sanctity of our national symbols.

I was going out with my boyfriend in Ilorin to get item 7, met policemen on the road, they called us, and we respectfully answered. They didn’t have any reason to stop us, so they started saying rubbish.
They dropped from their vehicle, and one of them said to me; "see wetin you wear, I go use hand rub your body now." (People that know me know I don’t dress indecently) he moved close and wanted to touch me, my boyfriend told him "that will be the last thing you'll touch, I assure you" — I was scared and shivering. He collected his phone and said, "Make we see wetin you even dey do self." He unlocked his phone, and the first thing he saw was his WhatsApp messages because that's what he was on. He saw several "happy birthday" messages from several people on one Nigerian Navy group. He proceeded to gallery, looking for "pictures of oyinbo so he can nab him for fraud" but saw more military pictures, and he said, "oga mi, no vex abeg, we just dey follow madam play."
The only thing they respect is superior force, nit the rule of the law, not the constitution, just something they know is well beyond them. That event was one of the many reasons I joined in the endsars protest that year.

@PoliceNG I am the lawyer representing him in the case. The high court judge didn't make any order or issued any warrant of arrest before proceeding on vacation. The case is now at the court of Appeal. A high court cannot make made any order since the case is at a higher court.
