1) Polygamy. If 1 man has 4 wives and each wife has 4 children that is 16 children. 2) a historical record of forced conversions, that continues to this day. Hope this helps!
If Islam is actually a wrong religion, how come there are 1.8 billion Muslims and Islam is the fastest growing religion?

Her only offense is telling someone about Jesus in Bornu State. She deserves to live, she doesn’t deserve prison sentence. Laitu Samuel Dawa must be released unconditionally now.
Liatu Samuel Dawa has been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment. She did not kill, She did not steal, She did not lie nor abuse anyone, Her only crime is coming from Northern Nigeria, telling someone about Jesus the Savior and the person becoming a Christian. In many let’s of Arewa North, it’s a criminal offence punishable by death for a Muslim to convert to Christianity. Nothing must happen to Liatu Samuel Dawa. We will collectively follow up on this case and make sure she gets justice.

I gave birth around the same time as the wife of a man who used to repair things for me. It was supposed to be her third baby, but sadly something went wrong after childbirth and she lost her life. It’s been two years now, but I still remember it like it happened yesterday. 🤍 That experience has stayed with me because it reminded me that pregnancy and childbirth are not things to take for granted. Please, let’s stop turning pregnancy, childbirth, and the struggles that come with them into jokes just to get likes, attention, or validation on social media. The fact that you had a smooth pregnancy and delivered without complications is a blessing, not a reason to look down on women whose experiences were different. Some women pray, fight, and go through so much just to bring a child into this world. Some don’t make it home to enjoy the very children they carried. Motherhood is a blessing, but childbirth is not without risks. Never take a safe delivery for granted, and please, let’s be more compassionate with our words. Behind every pregnancy is a human being whose life matters.

Imagine arguing about pregnancy with people without female reproductive organs. I’ll rather sleep in a refuse dump

The same men who say "this jollof is killing me", "my boss wants to kill me with work" and "Arsenal will be the death of me" have suddenly discovered the dictionary because a woman described pregnancy as a death sentence. You understand figures of speech perfectly. You just don't like it when a woman uses one to describe something that actually kills her. Nigeria accounts for more than a quarter of all maternal deaths in the world. So no, it's not "definitely die". But it's a gamble with her life every single time, and she's the one taking the risk while you argue about vocabulary.

The Borno State government is using the same Sharia law to sentence her to prison, even though they know she is Christian. To those saying Sharia law doesn't affect a non-Muslim, I hope you have seen this. If you like, allow them to introduce it to your states.
I just saw a news on AriseNews where a woman was sentenced to 14 years in prison for converting a muslim adult to a Christian in Borno, and people aren’t talking about it enough. Are we even okay in this country???????

They sentenced her to 14 years in prison using Islamic jurisprudence, even though they knew she was a Christian and she had only advised an adult about her faith, yet the world is silent about it. Please repost; let the world know.
JUST IN: a Christian woman has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for converting a muslim adult to a Christian in Borno state

We have to make voting Peter Obi and Kwankaso cool. We have to make it so that non believers would experience intense FOMO if they don’t get pinned.

When you’ve led resuscitation during cardiac arrests involving women during pregnancy, labour or the postpartum period, on the labour ward or in theatre, then come, let’s talk. 🗣️ Until then, I’m stepping away from this conversation. Medicine doesn’t always offer categorical yes-or-no answers. So YES, pregnancy can be life-threatening and sometimes fatal/ a death sentence ; whilst others might experience uncomplicated pregnancies. Both realities deserve acknowledgement. Hopefully, we’ll reach a point where every woman can describe her experience without fear of being dismissed, and fellow women can empathise whether or not they’ve experienced something similar.

"They turned me into a glorified errand boy" over his own child. Don't let these people who cannot put up with temporary discomfort tell you about the long-term effects of childbirth.

only 1 in 1000 males die due to police brutality in nigeria btw. the deaths caused by police brutality is less than 0.1%, the nigerian police is your FRIEND & if you’re not a criminal no need to be scared !
Only 8 in 1000 women die from childbirth in Nigeria btw. There's a very long gap between 0.8% and 20%. PREGNANCY IS NOT A DEATH SENTENCE!

The male urge to control everything down to how women discuss their childbirth experiences.
One insight I’ve reached is that many women act as though language lacks weight, a choice made deliberately to obscure clarity. Yes, men cannot give birth, yet calling it a death sentence is an exaggeration that unfortunately undermines the point you aim to convey.

“the fetus is an allograft and the mother should normally recognize the fetus as foreign and reject the fetus…” The day we had the lecture on immunological aspect of pregnancy, my mind was blown! If a woman says it was like a death sentence for her, I absolutely believe her.😭
Oh and my final take, I believe pregnancy is a pathology sha. Something cannot be capable of causing so many disease conditions and not be a pathology in itself.

I was a Doctor for years before my first pregnancy. I had the theoretical knowledge. I had walked people through the path, done ceaserian sections, delivered vaginally assisted and none assisted, but NOTHING prepared me for My Pregnancy journey. At a point, even though I consider myself a relatively nice doctor, I had to start apologizing to all the patients I had come across… I realized knowing something and experiencing something are just 2 absolutely different things… I used to defend that Mummy Zee lady on this app before the Pregnancy shii bluff…I used to think she was targeted but I realized she’s actually not a kind person… the way she was doubling down in the comment section before she deleted the whole insensitive post… That shii hit a nerve in me…for the pregnant women that was brought in dead due to eclampsia, for the one we lost on the operating table and we all shed hot tears, for the ones that had to deal with post partum complications for the rest of the their lives…for myself and my pregnancy journey; the one that stayed and the one that messed me up so bad and still left…
You people can talk your own, but pregnancy felt like a death sentence for me, there were days i thought i wasn’t going to survive it. I went days without eating (I love food). It felt like a death sentence! That is my own experience and it’s my reality.

Bold of y’all to assume that the same demographic of men who were fighting for their right to leave their wives in labour or whatever useless scenario that one curated, to go stay with their homeboy who got shot wouldn’t also be the same men to minimise the realities of pregnancy
