Tinubu traveled to the UK and made a deal to help them revive their dying steel industry. In return, we get to accept Nigerians who have criminal convictions or failed to regularise their stay in the country.
This is exactly what those guys meant when they sang Baba wey no well dey shout Emilokan
So why are you not directing your anger at the person whose job it was to protect her in the first place?
Last time I bought egg in Nigeria it was ₦1200. And that was 2 years ago when we were crying that Buhari has finished us.
I never thought I'd see the day someone will ask us to clap for the government because egg is now 4k
You should have stuck with the job you're known for.
If you had issues with the way Bola was treated by the police, you could have raised the issue without accusing the doctor of a crime for which he was exonerated.
Not that I'll bother much about how police treated her because if you accuse me falsely of rape, police will be the least of your problems.
But you could have made an issue of the police brutality and the doctor's involvement without a headline that clearly screams "Hack job!" without any fresh evidence.
Now you're in the league of Gistlover. Every investigative piece you write will be scrutinised from the angle of people seeing you as compromised.
Whether na envelope you collect from sponsors or opueh you collect from Bola, it was truly not worth it
I read this multiple times today: Since GMC already decided the case, why are they reporting it? What is the new information?
One, the police in Nigeria beat up a young lady, stripped her, locked her up, denied her food, and even denied her the chance to pee. That’s new information.
Policemen acting on Olufunmilayo Ogunsanya’s orders stripped a lady of her human dignity, and someone somewhere thinks “why are they reporting”? Is this the kind of society we really want to build — one where people who should clear their names in court to prove their innocence instead resort to assault and battery, and the media cannot report it?
Two, Bola Aseyan got a Nigerian court judgement last month. If the decision of a regulatory agency — which really is what the GMC is — was all over the media in 2023, why should the judgement of a Federal High Court not be reported by the media? Because Aseyan is not an influencer?
Is our dream country then one where access to the media belongs only to the high and mighty, plus Twitter influencers and popular lawyers?
If only one human being has close to 10 rape or attempted rape accusations (one accuser is even on X asking him to publicly dare her), should it not be explored by the media just because a regulatory agency said “not proved”?
I get it: many of you do not want a sane country; you only want one where your favourites and influencers are untouchable.
The most traumatic experience for any doctor in the UK is to be dragged to the GMC. Even coroner's investigation will not traumatise you like that.
They didn't need to prove that @OurFavOnlineDoc was guilty. All they needed was a little proof that he had acted in an inappropriate manner and Otilo. He's gone.
For somebody to go through that trauma and survive, and for whatever reason you decide to bring the issue up again on social media to force him to start all over again to clear his name means you're either a very wicked person or you're a part of an agenda to bring him down.
For Fisayo to say that a verified message transcript admitted in evidence by the tribunal is fake gives a very clear picture of his mission.
Dude is a mercenary
Bola Tinubu is still fighting to keep the record of his case sealed
The entire tribunal transcript of the twitter doctor's case is out there in public for anyone to see.
Conclusion: you will do better as an aparo hunter than a social critic
A lady made a rape accusation against a doctor in the UK. British police investigated the case and said it's a lie.
The doctor was dragged before MPTS, the most traumatic experience for any doctor practicing in the UK. They judged the case and decided the lady was talking nonsense.
The doctor who felt he was wronged decided to fight and seek redress in Nigeria where his accuser resides. Nigerian court said she was not guilty of cyberbullying.
As an "investigative journalist", you decided to come out and accuse him of a crime that has been severally debunked in the place where it happened.
You were shown excerpts from their case judged in a country with a more robust law enforcement and judicial system and you said it's fake. Something that is there for the public to see.
And you're telling us you were not paid?
I'm even seeing brown envelope in your pocket from here
With the sheer scale and number of ‘anti-government’ stories I have published, not to mention the ones by @fijnigeria, somebody actually believes I took money for those stories?
Impossible to think I’d still be standing if I ever took money for any story!
But my search for truth is never-ending, regardless of whether it is a popular choice at a certain time or not. People who believe I’ve been bought reveal more about themselves than me — people of meagre virtues and no scruple, able to be bought or influenced. In their head, everyone else is like them.
And in the not too distant future, they will eat their words (like it's happened several times in the past).
Instead of being a stupid gaslighter, why don't you show the pictures to the corrupt leaders you're supporting and tell them what happens when the people are pushed to the wall?

If this got to your feed, then you just witnessed a reincarnation, because it’s still me osiso 😡🔥
Let’s run up the numbers my people 🙏
Height of wickedness.
A group of Igbo people abroad set up a scam to get money from Igbos living abroad in the name of fighting for Biafra.
To make it look legit, they armed some riffraffs to terrorise their own people at home.
Thank God our eyes are opening

HOW BUHARI STARTED INSECURITY IN THE SOUTH EAST
You might have heard the statement by the former presidential spokesman Garba Shehu that they started the story about rats in Aso Rock to distract Nigerians from the issue of Buhari's health. What they didn't tell you was that they told more than the story of rats to keep Nigerians distracted and some of their distraction techniques led to the insecurity we're seeing in the South East today.
In 2017, Buhari went on a medical leave abroad for 104 days lasting from May 7th to August 19th 2017. During this period, there was a lot of insecurity from Boko Haram and from Fulani herdsmen. People were getting to the point of revolting at that time.
Two days after his return, Buhari addressed the country and his focus at that time was the Biafra agitation. Bear in mind that the South East was quite peaceful at this time. Nnamdi Kanu had just been released and a lot of people were going to Abia State to see him.
Part of Buhari's statement on August 21st 2017 read
"In the course of my stay in the United Kingdom, I have been kept in daily touch with events at home. Nigerians are robust and lively in discussing their affairs, but I was distressed to notice that some of the comments, especially in the social media have crossed our national red lines by daring to question our collective existence as a nation. This is a step too far."
About 3 weeks after that statement, the Nigerian Army started Operation Python Dance in the South East.
If you go back to Buhari's statement, you will notice that his problem was what people were saying on social media. He never mentioned that anybody was carrying arms to fight for Biafra.
First thing the army did after Egwu Eke was started was to attack Nnamdi Kanu's home and he was able to escape.
It is worthy to note that even at this time, not every Igbo person accepted Nnamdi Kanu as a leader. He made broadcasts complaining that Igbo people abroad were not forthcoming with fundraising and were not supporting the Biafra movement.
When he made his No referendum No election statement, a lot of Igbo people including myself called him an APC agent.
It was unfortunate that he could not keep his mouth shut during the Endsars protest and riots. Everyone knew IPOB had nothing to do with it, but his statements made it easy for the Nigerian government especially Tinubu to blame IPOB for what happened. Tinubu especially welcomed that opportunity because it appeared his own Lagos had rejected him and he wanted to change the narrative.
When Nnamdi Kanu was abducted from Kenya, that was the tipping point. Igbo people normally hate oppression and when they feel you're doing too much to oppress someone, they usually rally round the oppressed.
Unfortunately, the Biafra struggle ended up in the hands of a riff-raff like Simon Ekpa who has no identifiable family connection in Igbo land and has nothing to lose. Ekpa had no problems with unleashing violence in the South East as long as it kept the funds coming.
The attacks by Fulani herdsmen in places like Benue and Plateau also helped Ekpa to push the agenda that Fulani was coming for Igbo land next. This pushed a lot of Igbo people abroad to send in money to Ekpa and his boys. They had to maintain their stories by attacking Igbo people and claiming it was either Fulani herdsmen or Fulani soldiers.
Now, Ekpa is in detention and we have seen that everything he had been saying about having connections with foreign governments is just a bunch of lies.
Unfortunately, their leadership is now fragmented and we now have criminals with sophisticated weapons roaming the bushes from Ihiala to Orlu to Orsu to Okigwe and Mbaise. Armed robbers and kidnappers now say they're fighting for Biafra.
All these would never have happened if Buhari had faced his health challenges and ignored Nnamdi Kanu.
Buhari's open hatred for Igbo people is the major reason we have insecurity in the South East.
