5 yrs ago YT removed my monetization for not meeting the new req'ts at the time. I never did get enough views for a cheque. Now I meet every req't except for one. I'm 158 subs shy! If you like my music and content I'd appreciate a sub and/or a share! 1/8

New RigelEngine release! Lots of bug fixes and parity improvements, added demo playback, and a new "Classic" mode based on my source code reconstruction which is 100% accurate to the original.

Duke Nukem II was released December 3rd, 1993.
What are your favorite memories of this classic title?

From deep in the Apogee files, here's some more Blood art from 1994 that's never been posted publicly. A lot of people consider this the best Build engine game, and it definitely was a fun-as-hell game. (In 1995 we sold the game rights to @MonolithDev, who published the game.)

Blood was started in 1994 by Q Studios as one of four Apogee games being developed in our Build engine (coded by Ken Silverman). A year later we sold the Blood rights to Monolith, who published the game.
Here's some 1994 concept art for the game that's never been released.

What do you mean by "true" 3D? Do you mean just "it's rendered with polygons" or "some Youtuber told me in between bong hits that it's not true 3D if it's sectors and lines and stuff"?

Where is Duke Nukem? Duke's interview with Jay Lenoman was cut short by a missile strike on the new Lady Killer Casino!
Walk a couple hours in Duke's shoes this December with the Restoration Project's First Slice!

Back in 1998 I pretty quickly wrote a 5-pg game outline for Duke Nukem Forever, to give to George, to help initiate some game ideas. Beyond this outline my involvement in the project was super minimal, instead I focused on Max Payne, Prey & other external console projects.

Another Duke Nukem painting--this one I have in storage and never posted before. Apogee and Eurocom released Zero Hour (Nintendo 64) in '99. IMO, this was the last really great Duke keyart ever made.

I remember Polytex. We were indeed pushing for a real 3D engine after Duke, ala Quake. The focus was certainly on Build up through shipping Duke etc but after that Ken simply didn't want to pursue the new 3D engine and just went back to college. Was his choice to not pursue it.
