Riftbound released a First Edition box exclusively for the Chinese market. The cards in this box are the very first Riftbound cards ever produced, making them a unique part of the game's history. The print run was limited to just 5,000 boxes. These cards were produced with an exceptionally high level of quality. That premium production wasn't carried over to the main release, likely because it would have been too expensive to scale. As a result, these cards have a look and feel that immediately sets them apart from regular Riftbound cards. At around €2,000, I personally think this box is incredibly undervalued. People spend €30,000 or more on rare chase cards all the time, yet many overlook items like this because they haven't looked into the history behind them. For me, owning the very first chapter of Riftbound's story is far more compelling than simply owning another rare card.
